It is a lovely product, very well made. Be aware that it is very thick and very heavy. We're considering having it inset into the counter. Haven't actually used it yet so can't comment on cleaning it.

Honestly, I don't have to cut roasted meat that often. But the mess it makes drives me crazy. You also miss out on the juices that run off the board. This board is game changing for cutting grilled tri tips and other roasted meat.But for the day-to-day mise-en-place, this is just wonderful. It has enough space to allow you to leave little piles of chopped onion, peppers and garlic on the board. The thickness of the wood makes it so sturdy. I love the little garbage pan. We have a lock on our trash can because--dogs. So loading up the little pan and emptying it at the end is useful. We use it every single day.

We bought this as an anniversary gift to each other (and a giant bean bag lol). Phenom build quality and function. Have kept it oiled and creamed as instructed. If you spend this kind of $ on a cutting board, you have to maintain it. Buy their mystery oil and board cream for sure (it does come with some to get you started). Also, the oil and cream work great on any wood that is dry or gets washed/wiped frequently.

This cutting board is amazing! Light weight is definitely not a word I would use to describe it. It is really heavy, but I love that about it! I got the pretty large board with the edge to catch the juices and I keep it out all the time. The craftsmanship is gorgeous! I love it!

Nice big functional block, needs some design improvements.The section with points works well to hole the meat, but is a little difficult to clean, but who cares wood is naturally anti-bacterial.The drip pan/block side interface needs to be re-designed, the left and right wood channels drip on the edge of the pan, and leak to the table.So you still need a towel underneath to catch the drippings.Not sure why anyone is whining about splitting and cracking. This is my second boos block and the old one is fine, I just wanted a bigger one, this will never crack, and I don't bother only either all that much, e.g. once every 5-10 years.

Obviously well crafted, it works very well for its purpose. The only drawback is it weights a ton, which makes cleaning and storage a bit of a problem. If you have plenty of counter and/or storage room and reasonable arm-strength, however, this should do the job.

This is an amazing cutting board, the spikes hold the meat securely in place while you slice. (Be careful, the spikes are sharp).The juice grooves with the catch pan is genius. It also works using it on the other side for slicing vegetables. The catch pan is reversible, and perfect to slide your diced onions or whatever into, the dump in your pan, or the unusable trimmings to dump in the trash.

I am totally in love with this cutting board. It looks so good after conditioning it I almost don't want to use it. Solid maple with great American craftsmanship. Sized for those big cuts of meat I like to Q or smoke. I doubt I could be any happier with this product.
