50 string lights bethlehem type (Multi, LED)

Bought these to decorate our bikes here in South Florida for our evening rides through the neighborhood. Great product compared to other we have seen. You get a lot of lights with two light functions (steady or twinkle).Pros - Great bang for the buck, long string of lights, easy to use, bright.Cons - Out of 2 sets we bought, one of the on/off switch tabs broke off the second time we used it. The lights still work, but just need to use a screwdriver to turn the on.Overall a good purchase based on what we are using the for.

I got these Bethlehem lights to light a wreath where there is no electric outlet available. They seemed like a perfect solution. However, the first time I turned them on, the TINY stem of the on/off switch snapped off. I was able to turn the wreath on/off and set to "timer" using a toothpick. I turned on the wreath and expected it to turn off in approx. 5 hours. I'm not sure when it turned off, but it never turned itself on again the next night. I have to turn the wreath lights on manually, which, sadly, defeats the purpose of the timer. The string does light up, so it's not a total loss. Also, it takes 2 D batteries so the battery case is fairly large and heavy. Next year I will try another brand. These Bethlehem lights did not live up to their reputation.

I just bought a set of these and coming out of the box they looked to be sturdy and weather proof. I put batteries in, set them on Timed steady and strung them out on my gate that evening. It rained that nite and within 2 hours one set was out, the other set was still on the next day. I went out and found both battery boxes wet inside (so much for weatherproof) I unstrung them and brought them in to dry out hoping to salvage them. The set that went out rite away is toast, yes I tried new batteries. The second set's battery spring snapped off when I took the batteries out. I was able to re attach it but then the thing wouldn't come back on. I got disgusted and left it on the floor and about an hour later it came on. Great I thought, so I made sure it was set on timer and left them on, its been on now for over 24 hrs, so much for the timer. These are not the quality they are advertised to be! I will be requesting a full refund!

The lights worked well. I put them on my motorcycle. But they weren't very robust. Cheap construction, but about what I expected for the price. Disappointing nonetheless.

gave it four stars only because one set did not work and I had to return it. Also, only used for one year, next year if all strings work, I would probably change to a 5 star. Update December 2015: half of the strings do not work after one year of use. Changing this to one star. Should have checked where they were made, China's quality is really bad.

lights are a nice color, not very bright, and when plugged them in a dozen or so of them already not working.Would not recommend to buy/

I LOVE them. no problems anywhere. Set them up, turned them on to timer and let them go. We put them on a big bush in front of the house (2 sets) I love watching them twinkle. it has rained 3 out of 5 days and lights are still going strong. I highly recommend them.

Lights are nice, I used them for a wreath on my front door. The timer function is nice. Once you flip it on with the timer it will stay on 6 hours then go off for 18. So I synced them up with my Christmas light program. The bulbs are nice and bright.
