I've quite a lot of experience with original vanilla pods so I'll tell you that this is certainly made of natural vanilla. That said, I will give it only 3 stars and I'm also sure most people will not like this because (a) It's clear that the beans used to make this are of relatively low quality, and (b) The average person's idea of what vanilla smells like is substantially different from what vanilla REALLY smells like. The low quality of beans is what ensures that the price of this extract is so low - my estimate is that 20ml of extract would've taken at least 7-8 pods which would cost Rs. 1200-1500 or more at normal retail prices - this extract costs Rs. 400).My suggestion is that the average person should stick to the vanilla essence from the corner grocery store/Big Bazaar.

It gives an amazing flavour and is worth buying. I love the packaging and the product. Go for it. I have ordered this the second time😋

It's a sheer wastage of money. First this product was delivered after 2 weeks of order. 2nd it's just a sugar syrup with no taste. I almost spent 25% of liquid worth 100 bucks) for 1 glass of milk shake and still there was no trace of vanilla. Keep your hands miles away from this and spend your money wisely somewhere else.

More or less, after adding the drops you get the essence of cardamom or cinnamon. The product comes in the old style cold syrups. Overall, a good addition if you want to add variations in your coffee.

As a flavoring

Purchased this product first in Big Bazaar in an obscure shelf not visible prominently. Then scoured the net and found it on Amazon. Great product and easy to use,though the price seems steep. Very convenient to add it to my cup of tea

I dont usually write reviews but I do read them -- I depend on them with some items -- I wish I would have paid more attention to the reviews on this item -- I wanted a cinnamon extract for my coffees -- this product doesn't taste like cinnamon-- its bitter and has a strong chemical flavor -- I tried it using different amounts of drops and all I did was waste alot of coffee -- Everyone is different and have different likes and dislikes but this isn't worth the money -- I honestly should have paid more attention to the reviews -- Not worth it -- taste is awful -- DOEST TASTE LIKE CINNAMON --

In the ad on amazon, three times it said this product is Ceylon Cinnamon. The bottle in ad does not say Cassia. I avoid Cassia cinnamon. The bottle I received does say cassia cinnamon. Amazon would not let me return this item.

Disappointed. Could barely detect any flavor.
