Just what I wanted to freeze green smoothies for the week. They're glass with a small hole in the lid (for the straw) so the jar doesn't crack as the freezing smoothie expands. Sturdy, easy to clean. I can blend fresh veggies at their peak and move each bottle from the freezer to the fridge in time for each to defrost so I can enjoy. Also, I bought 'reCAP Mason Jars Pour Cap - Regular Mouth Black' from Amazon which makes the bottle full of gooey smoothie spill proof, almost like a sports bottle. Makes mornings much easier, just grab and go.
