Product not what I expected
I am writing this for my friend, Rose, for whom I placed this order: Rose owns one of these grinders and wanted to give one to a friend who had used hers and was impressed with what it did. When Rose's friend received the one ordered from you, she found it did not have a stone to grind with. She said there were two metal plates for grinding instead of a a metal plate and a stone (which is what Rose's machine has). She said that the two metal plates don't grind as finely as the metal plate and stone combination. She said she had to put the grain through twice, where the grinder Rose owns only required grinding one time. Rose is quite disappointed as she thought she was giving her friend a machine that was the same as the one she owns (the brand name and number are the same).

Good price for something to crack grains.
I bought one of these from another vendor years ago in Maine, and used it to crack grains. You'd have to go some to make flopur, but it's fine for cracking corn and other grains. It's $20 for crying out loud. I bought a country living grain mill for making flour. It was $420. I took off the handle, put the loop back on, chucked an eye bolt in a 1/2" drill and had a power mill for $20. I could crack a lot of corn fast.

A piece broke when we used it the first time and now it doesn't work. Contacted seller but due to the time there was no return available and they dont have parts.

Bad quality
will not grind worth a darn. The hopper wouldn't fit. The grinding plates were too sloppy to stay together. The crank handle hits the hopper after I was able to hammer it on the head. Just a real bad quaility control
