Old but good
I used to think of these things as an "Old man" type of thing. My grandfather always had one. They seemed to be an item given out by small businesses for advertising, like pens. Finally one day after trying to fish for change and pulling keys and a sundry of other items out of my pocket to get change, it dawned on me there has to be a better way and I remembered these from my childhood. Maybe if I would organize my pockets better I wouldn't have turned into an "old man", but these are great. Makes change easy to find and in one place and is unobtrusive to carry in your pocket. An old fashion item that still makes life a little easier.

I Love This Little Coin Purse!
It's just a silly little coin purse but I love it!! I use it to keep meds/vitamins in that I take during the day. It is the most beautiful transparent royal blue color. And although I just bought three of them in blue, I am going to have to buy some in the beautiful green! I also think it's cool its made in the USA! I will say when I first got it I thought it didn't open correctly but you just need to open it a few times then totally opens right. I think the plastic is a bit stiff before it has been used. I don't know if anyone still uses these but if you do, you can't go wrong!

Well built, Functions as expected, No oil based odor, I give it a BUY!
I'm giving it 4 stars because I haven't had it long enough to test it's durability. Basically, I'm happy. The package arrived on time and in good shape. The product was as pictured and described. There was no strong odor, as some plastic/oil based products can have) upon arrival. All three worked as expected (squeeze) both ends and it opens up. I did have to pull up the slitted sides and it's harder in cold weather, but they should loosen up over time and everything, including me, stiffens in cold weather. Price is okay. I think $2 each is a more reasonable price, but they appeared to be the best value I found. I don't normally carry change, but keep it in my vehicles or a piggy bank (true story!). I put one in each vehicle to keep change organized and easily find what I need at the drive through. The third one is a backup or maybe useful on a trip when I can't avoid change gathering. If you're looking for a convenient, fit in your pocket, functional coin purse, here it is. I say BUY!

Will hold your coins, doesn't open properly
Only one side of the holder opens when squeezed. This requires one to either pry open the other side, or deposit the change on the open side and then work it into place; otherwise, the holder might not fully close. I ordered a pack of three. Each one is exactly the same.

Just like I remembered from being a kid
I was looking for some place to put my hearing aids when at the lake. Scared to death to lose a hearing aid, when not in my ears. The bright color was great, they are however not wide enough for my hearing aids. These are just like the ones banks gave you for change years ago.

keeps coins in place
I remember seeing older folks with these coin holders when I was a kid. Now after more than 60 years, I finally got tired of digging in my front pants pocket for change and having to pull out my keys, etc. to get to the coins at the bottom of my pocket. This little coin purse works well. Coins stay inside, and only come out when you squeeze the ends. Each coin purse has a little loop of chain, which makes pulling it out of my pocket easy.Would recommend and buy again .

The only problem is that over time they get darker blue and get almost impossible to squeeze open.
As these coin purses age, they get darker and darker blue, and the darker they get, the more squeeze pressure it takes to open them. The one on the left in the photo was once the same color has the new one on the right. The one on the left is almost unusable now because it cannot be opened by just squeezing, even if you put it in a vise. You have to pry the mouth of it open with your left hand WHILE squeezing very hard (~50 pounds of force, past where the pointy ends of the thing hurt your hand.) with your right hand. New ones open easily with about 3 pounds of force.

Easy and practical way to carry coins
These little pieces of nostalgia are still worthwhile to carry. If you’re visiting an EU country that uses the euro you’re going to accumulate a lot of 1 and 2 euro coins. These purses hold a good many of them safely and without the jingle you’d hear from your pocket. It’s much better and safer to pull this out of your pant than your wallet to pay for small things.
