This is also a great reference guide for those just starting to quill, and provides inspiration for those who are more ambitious as well. Where Claire Sun-ok Choi's "Art of Paper Quilling" shows work that are more symmetrical and mathematically planned out, Malinda Johnston's style is a little more free and relaxed. I actually like that the projects are more homely and country-inspired. My only complaint is: this book is not available on Kindle as well. An excellent addition to my craft library!

I have been quilling for a year and love this type of craft. I started out with the complete kits. I liked quilling so much I branched out to do other projects. This book is very good because it breaks down techniques so that anyone can start doing these projects. It shows you how to form all the different shapes you need to form your designs. I have heard this to be called the "Quillers Bible". I found many designs I tried and love. The price was excellent too. I saw this same book on different sites to be at least double the price. You can't go wrong if you are a quilling lover like me. So be sure to get your copy.

I bought this book to give me more ideas on what to do with my quilling. I never knew how many wonderful things you can do with paper.

I just started quilling a few days ago and I ordered this book to help me get started. This book has a lot of beautiful templates and ideas. I am excited to make some of the Holiday projects now that it's cold and raining outside. This book is much more detailed than I thought it would be and a great place to get started.

I borrowed all the quilling books my local library had, including this one. I liked this one best so purchased my own copy. Many projects, and detailed instructions that I believe will help me learn this craft well.
