Bladder Leak Protection

Used for the first time this morning, for my workout at the gym. It's one of those "boot camp" type of places, where you go hard core for 30 minutes, and there's often lots of jumping jacks. Anyone with stress incontinence and whose had babies knows those jumping jacks will get your bladder leaking every time. So, I thought I'd give the Finess a try. It wasn't super comfortable once on, but I did manage to get used to it. I had it on for a total of an hour, and was relieved to get it off. As for stopping the leakage, I would say it maybe stopped 50% of it. I've leaked worse. I at least could do most of the jumping jacks "leakage free". So, though it's not a total game changer, it wasn't completely useless either.

I have been battling with some stress-induced incontinence while battling a cough and I was not feeling emotionally well with using pads. I saw this online and decided to try it. Waste of money for me.First, these are hard to place, something I was warned about but the extent was not explained fully. If you have any hair in the area it will snag and it is hard to get out of said hair. Once you try about 4 times it will be in place and is comfortable while there.Unfortunately after one coughing spell, unbeknownst to me, it dislodged, and thankfully I was wearing a pad for the test of this product when I coughed again. I attempted to use it again and had the same results, including tearing hair out by the root and one cough and I was back to the pad.Due to the sheer cost and need to have a backup pad/liner in the event, I do not go to the bathroom after one cough this is not effective enough to justify the cost and the aggravation.

I had no problems with useing this only down side I play sports daily so for useing 1 or 2 a day it is pricey Sticks good I restuck after peeing in potty 2 times then throw a way dont know if your supposed to do that or not .

These were exactly what I needed. 3 big babies were what caused my issues... So I can't speak to their effectiveness if you have a different root cause. I am able to exercise (run and lift) without worrying. Even on days I didn't have an accident the worry kept me from pushing myself in the gym and losing weight. These have allowed me to exercise harder without thinking about the *consequences*. I felt really awkward writing this review (should also note that I was not asked for a review or given a free product or anything), but wanted to vouch for a product I really believe may help other people. I have been considering surgery and this is allowing me to push that debate to the back burner until it's a better time. These basically do what the doctor I met with said the surgery would do. If you have a corrective surgery (the way I understood the doctor to have explained it), the surgeon creates a “sling” out of mesh... then they put it under the urethra (where urine passes through). The sling is like a hammock that lifts and supports your urethra and the neck of your bladder to help prevent leaks. This works like that but it's basically a gel sticker attached to foam that pushes you upward from the outside.

I don't know what I was thinking. This is the most uncomfortable thing I've ever tried. You need a mirror or someone else to put the sticker over your urethra. I'm a little on the pudgy side so it was hard to see down there! Poise Impressa works amazingly well. Save your money,

I tried these because I was too cheap to buy the Poise Impressa (which was doctor recommended and I have sampled). I’ve tried these three times and they just don’t work for me. Today I applied it over a mirror to ensure it was in the right spot. I was having a great run, until 2 miles in when it slipped loose, just like it had the previous two times. I just ordered the impressa, like I should have in the first place!

Wife of account holder here... I'm the one who normally leaves the reviews on our account, so I'm writing this one, too. Having given birth to 5 very healthy-sized children over the years, (One of them being almost 11-pounds when he was born; OMG I thought I'd die!) left my body a bit ravaged to say the least. And even though I've done a lot to get it back to decent shape and fitness, I still have to use some protection when doing strenuous activity like jumping on the trampoline, running, vigorous exercise, dancing, etc. And while Kegel exercises have helped tremendously, I still need that extra bit of help that these little things provide. They are soft, pliable, comfortable and most importantly, they work. Totally recommend these if you want reassurance that you're protected against embarrassing little leaks. Hope this wasn't too much information, but hey, it's a lot of people's reality. 😉
