Buy, Buy, Buy.
This product is absurd value for money. The original price was in the region of £200. Reviews were not great, for THAT price. But, at £34.99, this is an absolute steal. DAB+ FM and Bluetooth. Weather resistant, stereo and built-in rechargeable battery, remote control. I live in an area where Digital (DAB), FM, and mobile signal is very weak to non-existent. I have to use internet connected radios, which do not work when we have a power cut, or the internet is down. (Rural Suffolk) I have a £200 Roberts and £300 Revo (fabulous sound) Neither of which will pick up FM or DAB. This radio auto tuned an adequate number of DAB stations and also FM. I used the iPad app to change sound settings. Makes setup a little easier than trawling through the menu. Could not find the android app. Bought another one for the in-laws they are very pleased.

Wrong product description
Still advertising it as having DAB, it does not.................. Funny they don't put reviews in date order but when you are critical it probably means they obviously don't want potential buyers to see those criticisms. I am in the position of having now bought two of these units, and neither is dab or dab + . The description on the listing is deceitfully wrong and Amazon need to be taken to task over it. Both have now been sent back...oh Amazon suggested I mention sound quality, remote control and value for money, which it would be if it had DAB.. I also paid less than £25 each for this item.and they wan £32...When you carefully read a description on Amazon and when you have satisfied yourself that what has been described is what you are going to get , then you go ahead and order. Specifically I bought this Tivoli music system, specifically because it described having Dab and Dab +. It does not the item I received is a lesser item, essentially a am fm radio with Bluetooth. Though the item is well made and has a good tone it is not fit for purpose , might I draw Amazon's attention to the trades description act of 1968/1972, but then Amazon is so big it would be difficult to get a result reporting them.In a nutshell, wrong item description, I want the dab version and this is not it....

Really good, for the money
This is the first radio with DAB+ I have owned which can be used without being plugged in to an electricity supply. This is a big plus point. Also, using Bluetooth to connect to other devices is really good. I can listen to different programs from what is being broadcasted at the moment. I use BBC Sounds and listen to things which I may have missed. The sound quality is pretty good, but not comparable to a system with seperated speakers (I know this has two speakers, but you can't really notice the separation, unless you are really close). The downside is that you can't really connect to another output. The other bad point is that the display is really bad, you can't read the characters which go across thw display, so it is a waste of time.IIf you aren't worried about those two points, then it is a great buy.

Excellent for the money
Just bought one of these for the Man Shed (aka the Winter Palace) I was after something inexpensive that would give me DAB radio and which had an Aux input for my iPod. Happy to report that it's solidly built and a doddle to set up and use. Within a couple of minutes of unpacking it, I'd preset 5 stations, the clock was correct and I had my iPod hooked up. It comes with a remote control -an unexpected bonus- and the sound is full and clear, easily good enough for cranking up the volume without blowing the roof off. I like the styling, too. It's sleek and minimalist and unashamedly modernist, instead of looking like something you'd load into a Morris Minor along with a picnic hamper and a tartan rug (Bush/Roberts take note). I haven't yet tried the various bluetooth/smartphone streaming options, but it's good to know it's future-proof if I ever get the hang of that technology. I'm amazed by what you get for the money. I can retreat to the bottom of the garden without feeling guilty about how much money I've spent.

Not up to normal Tivoli quality standards
This product is not up to the usual Tivoli quality standards. The sound is generally muffled but not to the extent that it's terrible.Unfortunately most of the products settings are only accessible via the absolutely cheap and nasty remote that it's supplied with. There is an old app that you can use on some apple devices to control the radio but it's no longer updated and it's been removed from the Google play store. The text scroll on the LCD display does not work properly and the metal control knob on the top of the product has rough unfinished edges.

Compact, Cute and Classy...
This a fantastic piece of equipment. As I work from more these days and had set up my office in my dining room, this excellent gadget fits in perfectly on my bookshelf to allow me to listen to the radio or bluetooth Spotify from my phone. The sound quality and size is great. It is very lightweight and can easily be moved from room to room as required. The remote control is also an added bonus. Great seller also as it arrived the next day on Amazon Prime. Love it and use it every day!! 🙂
