Hi, If he has large paws and possibly a bandage, then I think you would need a large size but they are very long and you would have to cut it off, or double the top over. I personally ordered 2 sizes and returned the one I didn't want. Just one thing it is a straight sock there is no shape and wouldnt last long outside. I found the Vetguard protective boot a much better option. Hope this helps.

Probably be too big, they are quite roomy, long and straight no shape! I ordered 2 sizes and returned 1, but it was'nt a good buy for me. There is no shape to the sock, so you need to secure with the straps. Not very durable if you have an active dog, but waterproof. I found the Vet guard superdry boot to be the best, in medium for my setter who has quite big feet + bandage. Hope this helps, it's important to have comfort for your dog as well and you get it all with Vet guard.
