T9 Matte Blue GMT Pilot Watch for Men, Swiss Quartz, Mineral Crystal with Brown Leather Strap

I got this watch for my girlfriend. I buy, sometimes sell and repair watches. I'm a watch fanatic. My girlfriend, not so much, but I give her credit, she puts up with my obsession and she's taken a sort of liking to them too. She's more about the looks of watches than anything else. Movement, who made it etc. She loves blue watches, and we're planning a trip in the winter and I thought a gmt would be fun for her and track time zones etc. She loved the blue dial and orange hand. It really is pretty and legible. it's easy to set,and keeps good time. Of course it's quartz ,not automatic, but okay for the price. I can't recall if it's a true gmt with the jumping hour, but she doesn't care about that. Only thing I will caution anyone with smaller wrists on,this boy is huge. I think 43 or more mm. It's honestly big on her and on me, but it's a pilot's watch,it's supposed to be. Strap is decent quality too and matches nice. Great watch to get into gmt's. Would recommend.

My husband, who is still a big fan of wearing wristwatches, helped me evaluate this Torgoen T9 Blue GMT Pilot Watch. Overall, he found this watch truly beautiful and believed that it would definitely please a watch enthusiast in many ways. First, in terms of appearance, the watch’s blue dial is stunning. My husband liked the high contrast between the dark blue color dial with the white hour/minute hands and hour markers. This makes the watch easily readable. The large 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock numerals further increase the watch’s legibility. The hands and hour markers are also lumed with glow-in-the-dark luminescent paint. My husband greatly enjoyed the GMT hand feature. He thought that the reddish orange GMT hand and center sweeping second hand give the dial a nice pop of color, especially when matched with the exposed reddish orange stitching of the brown leather watch band.As for wearability, at approximately 42mm, the watch case is a handsome size that looks terrific on the wrist. The leather watch band feels well made, robust, and goes nicely with the size of the watch case. The 22mm lug width band comes with quick release spring bars which make changing bands easy. The brushed metal watch band buckle printed with the “TORGOEN” name is also sturdy and goes perfectly with the brushed metal watch case. The watch wears comfortably and has so many appealing qualities that my husband was reluctant to find fault with it.All the same, he noted that Torgoen did not include any instructions for setting and using the GMT with the watch. He figured out that the crown pulled to the first (middle) position sets the GMT hand if turned counterclockwise and sets the date if turned clockwise. The second crown position (pulled all the way out) sets the time. My husband explained that the GMT hand can be set to a second time zone using the 24 hours printed around the inner bezel. Next, my husband was somewhat disappointed that the ticking quartz second hand does not land squarely on all the minute markers as it sweeps around the dial. He had higher expectations for this TORGOEN watch given it’s price and its use of a Swiss 515 Ronda watch movement. He said that when a watch company includes “SWISS MOVT” on their watch dials like this TORGOEN, people expect to see accuracy, but the watch falls a bit short in this area. Despite these issues, my husband still found this TORGOEN GMT watch well functioning, beautiful, and a joy to wear.

First time purchasing a watch online. Price was right so if I didn't like it I could re-gift or return. Brand (Torgoen) exceeded my expectations. Ive only had the watch for one day but I like the look, quality and feel of the watch on my wrist. Nice casual watch to wear everyday.

This watch has a WW2 Aviator vide, the luminous markings are east to read and the dual time hand is actually handy

I got this for myself for my birthday. I like the face and the simplicity of it, and the extra hand for the second time zone has been very useful for me as well. It feels like a quality watch, and seems to well worth the money. The strap is higher quality than I expected, and surprisingly fits my small wrist. I seriously thought I'd be punching my own hole in it, but I didn't have to. I've had it now for several months, and am still very happy with it.

My husband loves this watch. This is his second. The first one’s face got cloudy after a year. Hopefully this one will do better.

Goes on smooth and stays put. It has a GMT and a date complication and is forty two millimeters in size. It comes with a nice leather strap that helps give it its overall look, especially with the orange piping on the strap. It’s Swiss movement makes it keep time accurately with the quartz’s engine that’s inside it. It’s been machined out of a solid block of stainless steel that makes it rigid and the pieces that make up the watch won’t be shifting around any. It has a clear mineral crystal that helps keep the amount of scratches down on the face. The instructions were well written and helped me to set the watches complications with ease and how to use them as well. It’s already being worn and complimented on. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

Quality is good, fits nice. Watch is light weight and easily visible in the cockpit with a quick glance. I will purchase more of these.
