I can’t tell if it’s actually cleaning his teeth but anything to see if it works. Only have had for a few days but better than trying a greenie treat which he won’t touch!

If your pup uses this correctly, it would probably work. Our pup chews on the bottom part instead of the toothbrush part. We tried to motivate him to use the brush part with and put food in it, but he gets the few pieces of food that fit in that part out so quickly that it doesn't really work for us. It has turned into a toy we throw and he chews on the bottom part that is there to help the dog hold ththe brush. Our dog is an extreme chewer and this is one of the few things he hasn't destroyed yet, so durability is amazing!!

It took a lot of encouragement for my dogs to start using this appropriately. They would start licking the dog friendly toothpaste off of it and then get bored. It wasn’t until I put a little bit of peanut butter on the outside and treated the toothbrush as a toy, playing tug of war, that they started to chew it. My dogs have multiple food allergies and eat salmon dog food so their breath is atrocious - I was hoping for a miracle here as they HATE getting their teeth brushed. This wasn’t the miracle i was looking for.

This doggy chew toy is made especially for the dog to bite into the harder and softer natural rubber sticks. This helps with plaque. I was surprised to learn that this doggy toy toothpaste can actually be added. It is not a requirement, but the instruction made a point of saying it would help! Our Jasper, loves the toothbrush dog chew, and leaves it at his dog bed, and then returns to it. Once I am up and healed I plan on trying the doggy toothpaste and see how that works. In the meantime, his teeth a pretty.

Received this product with signs of having been used! There was dog hair in the cracks and crevices, bite marks, and old dried toothpaste (or something worse, not sure). I did not buy this in used condition, it was advertised as New. I can’t speak to how well it works because I will not let my dog use it in this condition. Will add pictures soon.

I had high hopes for this because I dislike brushing my dog's teeth. I have tried peanut butter, two different types of doggie toothpaste and dipping in chicken broth. She loves to lick it, but will not chew or "brush" her teeth. It might work for you but unfortunately it was not the answer for us. I also didn't realize how phallic it looks just sitting on the floor. LOL.

Gave it to my dog for Christmas this morning and he hasn’t put it down! I didn’t put toothpaste in it but he has loved chewing on it. It has definitely kept him busy!

My dog loves it. I will let her play awhile and then gradually add doggy toothpaste. She absolutely won’’t let me brush her teeth but loves chewing this. Looks like it will stand up well, she is about 45 lbs and hasn’t destroyed it and continues to chew on it. Helping to keep her teeth clean, I will take the help everytime. Fantastic, will buy again for sure.

My 9.5lb havanese had this destroyed after 1 use of 5 minutes. Tooth bristles chewed off completely and handle chewed. I was expecting that given this item is supposed to be made for teeth cleaning it would have stood up to more than one use. Won't buy again.
