Great Purchase! Highly Recommend for Students or Anyone!
I love this case! I bought an iPad Pro about a month ago and was looking for a keyboard that would make it feel like a laptop. This case definitely accomplished that! Before purchasing it, I tested out a ton of different keyboards in store for double the money (Logitech, Apple, etc.). All of them felt difficult to use, especially for the price. I decided to take a gamble with this case and I’m so glad I did! It’s way better than the others! Additionally, I have a rose gold iPad and wanted to get the rose gold keyboard to go with it, but was afraid the colors would be off and might clash. Nope! The rose gold keyboard matches the iPad and blends in beautifully!Things I like about it:- Battery Life ~ The keyboard needs to be charged and comes with a micro USB cable. Charging time is pretty quick (I’d say about 2ish hours) and the battery lasts a long time! There is a switch on the side of the keyboard that turns it on or off, so when it’s not in use, I turn the keyboard off to preserve the battery. Doing this method, the keyboard charge can last about a week to a week and a half depending on how frequently you use it. Additionally, when the battery is getting low, a little light at the top right corner turns red to indicate it’s time to charge it. I’m pretty sure that when it’s about to die, the red light will start flashing. When it’s finished charging, the light turns blue, and then goes off once it is unplugged from the micro USB.- Keyboard ~ Man do I love the keyboard! Probably more so than my own laptop. Pretty sure the keyboard is mechanical. The buttons are easy to press and use, making it effective for typing quickly. It truly does feel like I am using a laptop rather than an iPad. It also has some unique features unique to apple products, like pressing space twice to create a period at the end of a sentence. Additionally, the case itself is pretty slim rather than bulky, making it pretty small to slip in bags. Finally, I like how the case itself spins 360 degrees. Makes it easy to switch between wanting to use it as a laptop versus a propped up iPad.- Backlights ~ The keyboard is also backlit and you can change the color and the intensity of the light (or can turn it off entirely). The colors are blue, white/blue, purple, lime, yellow, dark blue, green, and red. The side of the keyboard will also light up if you turn it on and will transition through the 8 colors available. You can change the speed of the transition on the side! Additionally, if you turn caps lock on, a button on the top right of the keyboard will turn white to indicate caps lock is on like an actual computer.- Durable ~ I’ve had the keyboard for about a month now and have not had any problems yet! Seems to be durable. Also, the case does a good job at protecting my iPad and seems to be pretty sturdy. I also bought tempered glass to go over my iPad’s screen, so it’s been pretty well protected from scratches. The case itself seems pretty sturdy. I wouldn’t recommend treating it roughly or dropping it on hard surfaces, but it will definitely protect the iPad from most wear and tear.- Shortcuts ~ This is probably the part I was most excited for! The keyboard has full short cut capabilities (e.g., Command + C allows you to copy, Command + V allows you to paste, etc.). Uniquely, I also noticed pressing Command + Tab will allow you to quickly flip through your last opened apps on the iPad, similar to how it would on a computer. This is SUPER useful and makes it feel all that much more like a laptop! Additionally, there are a ton of quick keys to use at the top. These include a button that takes you to the home screen, increase/decrease screen brightness, bring up the on screen keyboard, search option on iPad, copy, paste, rewind, play/pause, forward, increase/decrease volume, and mute. You can also click Control + Space to bring up the emoji keyboard! Finally, if you have the keyboard on and close the screen, the screen will automatically lock.- Bluetooth ~ I found the Bluetooth easy to use! It connected to my iPad immediately and hasn’t been an issue since. Connects immediately every time I turn the keyboard on without delay.Things to be Aware of:- Weight ~ The keyboard definitely makes the iPad a little heavier. I personally don’t think it’s bad, but if you’re looking for something super lightweight, keep this in mind.- Scratching ~ It seems like it’s pretty easy to scratch. I try to be super careful with it and conscientious of what surfaces I’m putting it on and how I’m loading it in my bag. I’ve noticed the bottom of it has some gray rub marks on it from resting and sliding around against surfaces. They’re not too bad, but it’s something to keep in mind.- Protection ~ This case does a good job protecting my iPad from everyday wear and tear. However, it’s definitely not durable like an Otter Box. I imagine it wouldn’t do well if dropped on a hard surface.- Mouse ~ I see people keep complaining that it doesn’t come with a mouse... but that’s because it’s an iPad. iPads don’t have mouse capabilities, so you wont find a case with a mouse available.- Lock Button ~ The upper right key has a lock symbol on it, but I have no idea what it does. Every time I press it, nothing happens. Either my key is broken, or I have no idea what it does.- Charge ~ While the red light will come on when it needs to be charged, there’s no other way to check what percentage battery it’s at. Can sometimes be a guessing game on how much charge is left. The red light comes on pretty close to the end of it’s battery life, so hopefully you’re in a situation where you can charge it when it dies.- Shortcuts ~ Shortcuts work on almost all apps except a few. Just something to keep in mind. They definitely work on all Apple related apps (iMessage, Notes), and Word too.- Long Term ~ Sometimes I worry that the 360 component is going to break. I try to treat it as carefully as possible, but notice the iPad side of it will slide down if held vertically to the ground without support. I would just be careful with how rough you are on it to ensure it lasts a long amount of time.A lot of those things above are super nit picky. Overall, I highly recommend this keyboard and have found it super useful to use in class! Absolutely worth the price!

UPDATE AFTER 6 MONTHS
So far so good! The Bluetooth connection took me a while but I soon got I. The material (aluminium alloy) is really stunning and makes it look like a mini laptop. The swivel has a locking mechanism so it will stay in place fairly well.It seems pretty durable and the hinges feel strong but time will tell. I may update in two months or so and say if anything changes.I was really excited for this to come in (came fast!) and can’t wait to get to typing. My other keyboard case was blehhh. This is awesome!Update (four months later): It’s still going strong and the hinges are as firm as when I first got the case. It has gotten a bit scratched as expected but it’s on the bottom side which isn’t seen much anyway.UPDATE:I purchased this in January of this year and a few days ago in this month of July, the hinge finally popped and the material was badly broken. After opening and closing and rotating the hinges, I guess the material wore out and couldn’t take anymore. The company needs to make things that can last longer than 6 months. I wanted to get at least two years out of such a promising product before some major thing happened with it. It was so useful when it was fine and now I’m waiting on my replacement case to arrive...Shame since I really loved this case and got so many compliments on it when I would bring my iPad in to class.

Doesnt last, lovely product but fell apart in 3 months
I ordered this case in january for school and at first was instantly in love, great battery life, beautiful color, great protection/fit, but after only 3 months of mild usage the 360 swivel head became very stiff and within two days of that happening the case jammed. I tryed to carefully wiggle it loose but the metal reinforcment for the swivel bent and snapped in two. I am sorely dissapounted by the longevity of this case. I wanted to give it 5 stars but if $50+ only lasts 3 months of use, this case isnt worth it.

Must BUY! No LIE!
This is PERFECT! I bought a different one last year and it does not have the rotation screen. This one is great. Everything I need. Closes perfectly and I love the matted look. I will upload pics soon! Also love that the opening on the cover where the apple logo is located is covered by plastic. My other one does so I had to put a sticker on it to prevent it from getting scratched.

Great Addition to iPad Pro 10.5
This is a nice keyboard. The screen rotates a full 180 degrees to hide the keyboard in a flat configuration. With the screen visible, the keyboard opens to a multiple angles to a maximum 180 degrees and the keyyboard has an off/on switch. The USB keyboard charging cable is included. Great product!

No instructions on how to pair.
Just received today.... there were no instructions on how to pair the key board. Took a little googling, but I figured it out. It does not pair like my last key board paired. Hopefully it will last and be a decent key board. Last one only lasted 18 months.... also the box seemed to have been used.... it had a UPS label pocket that had been ripped open and had nothing in it.... weird....
