Lovely lavender smell, nice moisturising cream, but a very strange colour, which thankfully goes away as you rub the dream in. No nasties in the the ingredients, lots of natural stuff, my skin loves it. Used a night the lavender helps me nodd off.

I found it far too thick and took an age to cream into my skin. Definitely not for me.

I chose this cream because it sounded like it smelt the most neutral. No one in the other views described the smell, apart from one who said in their review that it 'smelt nice' or 'like lazy day on the beach' which is hardly informative. A romantic comment, yes, but how does a lazy day on the beach smell? Like salt and sea shells? Doesn't sound very nice in that case. Smells nothing like that though, luckily. Anyway. I was expecting it to smell at least subtly like olive oil or argan oil but it smelt more synthetic. If I could describe it I'd say it smells more like alcahol-ish vanilla essence with some sort of chanel/chloe perfume. The after smell is a bit like baby powder though. Not all that bad for those who like that but I was looking for something more natural smelling as I'm used to using raw shea and cocoa butter.If you apply a big amount on your skin, it feels as if it doesn't want to absorb properly and leaves a white film on your skin (bit like sudocrem) which takes a short while longer to rub in. It's not the richest cream out there if you have very dry skin, so I think it would be more recommended to normal-dry skin. But it's not oily and absorbs well which is a plus.One main issue though. I have literally had this cream for just over a month and when I used my finger to get some cream away from the edges, the cream that was against the edges has turned a funky yellow colour as if it has gone off. Maybe the plastic is really cheap and is depositing its colours into the cream? I have not even used more than half of the product. Not sure if this would happen with any of the other creams as some of the others are coloured or in pastel coloured tubs.I am a bit suspicious of all the other reviews on it as more or less every user was given a free/discounted tub to give an "honest" review yet none of them have anything even slightly negative to say about the product. Wonder if they are just supposed to 'sell' the product instead of being completely honest or if it was just the cream I chose and the fact that I didn't have the best experience.But anyway if you don't mind all the things that I mentioned, then give it a try and see how the Venus Secrets experience goes for you. Plus, I'm sure these body butters are much better than The Body Shop ones as they do have more good ingredients in them than straight up chemicals.

Very good product bought chocolate & orange & it does smell like that!! It does moisturise the skin well. The tub is quite strong so ideal for me to take to the gym.
