Hoping to get another decade out of my mouse
I have owned my trusty Logitech MX518 for about 11 years now and have used it pretty much every day since then except when I've been on vacation. I recently did a deep cleaning of it and realized that the skate on the front of the mouse had been worn down almost to the back of the adhesive layer in one of the corners. This didn't bode well for my new cloth mouse pad if that were to start smearing all over it. Thankfully I have the newer 1800 dpi version of this mouse because it shares the same skate templates as the G400/400s and G MX518, which is likely the sole reason these replacements are still widely available. If you have one of the earlier versions of the MX518, these will not fit.Installation was pretty simple. The 75% isopropyl wipes that are included did a decent job of cleaning up any leftover residue after peeling off the original skates. I only needed to use a stronger adhesive remover for the smallest of the three skates on the left side of the mouse, not sure why it was more difficult. Had I not needed to spend time doing this extra cleaning, it probably would have only taken about 5 minutes to replace all of the skates from start to finish. The most important thing is to not get your fingerprints all over the adhesive side of the replacement skates, the oil from your skin could interfere with the bond to the clean underside of the mouse. The other thing is to make sure you line it up properly before you apply any pressure to it at all. Once it's stuck on, you will not really be able to peel it back up without permanently wrinkling/creasing the surface of the skate as well as reducing the efficacy of the adhesive.Pretty easy if you are patient and don't rush things. Just make sure you have an adhesive remover on hand (I use a citrus oil-based one that I will not name the brand of due to Amazon's rules) in case there is stubborn residue left over that the alcohol is having trouble removing. You would not want to apply the new pads on a surface that still has any old glue on it. Just take care not to get the adhesive remover on any rubberized parts of the mouse such as the sides or the scroll wheel, it could damage those. My mouse is now gliding like it's brand new, so a big thanks to hotline games/menofmice for saving me $40 I would have had to spend for a new G MX518.

Revived my G400s
I was sad when the skates on my beloved G400s started peeling off after a few years. I didn't even think they could be replaced, and went ahead and purchased a new mouse, which I didn't like as much. I then happened upon these replacement skates. They were simple to apply, they fit perfectly, and the G400s is now gliding along, good as new. We'll see how long they last, but right now, very happy with this purchase.

Very professional package, fit my G400 perfectly
My 6 year old G400 finally died.. turned out to be a bad cable. But to replace the cable, you have to tear off the skids covering the screws. I ordered this set of skids and they came in a very nice package, with alcohol wipes and 2 sets of skids. I replaced the cable, put on the skids, and I hope I get another 6 years out of my G400!

It is what it says.
It fits properly, and adhesive is good. Clean contact surface well with alcohol wipes provided, dry it good and stick.Avoid touching the sticky surface of the new pads, that can affect it's bond. done.
