Great shorts.very comfortable .Use them for 90 minute spin rides .

I just got these and can barely fit into them. Per the chart (and my other cycle shorts) I ordered size Large. May have to send them back. Also I was expecting a little heavier material. These are extremely thin but looks like good quality. They do not a conventional leg cuff gripper but they do stay snug.

I initially ordered a pair of these bike shorts as a gift last year after comparing various comments and reviews from the mega-bike riders who had lots of experience with various brands. They were right. My husband loved them. He said they were the best long distance biking shorts he had worn in a long time. So a second pair arrived and I am hopeful they will be just as comfortable as the first. As we know, sometimes manufacturers cheapen the labor and materials which results in less comfort and durability. Hopefully that isn't the case this year. If it is, I'll circle back with a follow up comment.

I don't know if these are the very best shorts I've ever had, but they're close. I would favorably compare them to much pricier shorts by Giordana and Pearl Izumi. The fabric seems to be of very high quality, the construction seems solid and the chamois is plush without being intrusive. I have a couple of pairs of the Louis Garneau Fit Sensor shorts, and I find these much more comfortable. They have become my go-to choice for 3+ hour rides. Though there's nothing more personal than a pair of cycling shorts, for me at least, these are an outstanding combination of quality and value.

Incredible comfort for someone who avoided bike shorts for years.

Size is smaller than size table and I thought it was the same quality of style of my previous compressive shorts from LG. Unfortunately they are no longer made and these are not good value for money. The issue I have is that it takes a bike ride to test the shorts and hence no longer refundable.

I was so disappointed in these shorts. I’ve been riding Garneau shorts for years and I don’t know whats happened to the quality. The material is thin and I can’t understand the design of the elastic waistband! Also, Garneau product pricing has gone through the roof!The Carbon 2 (which I upgraded my purchase to) is more like what I was expecting but should a person really have to pay $190 for a decent pair of shorts?! Congratulations, Garneau, your plan worked. Your ‘bottom’ products are so inferior that one is forced to the highest priced tier to realize a decent product similar to that which you offered for a much more competitive price only a couple of years ago!😡
