30" x 64" - awesome for gym!
Plenty of people talk about "getting used to"... Sorry (not sorry) but I have to disagree. At least on this specific microfiber towel (haven't tested any other). It does not STICK like a regular microfiber towel for like cleaning your car. I was worried it'd require "patting" only motion as some mentionned. Not at all. It's also actually soft to the touch. Not rubbery or sticky. I use it just like I use a cotton towel. Granted cotton or not cotton, I don't know who rubs themselves over and over again. I just go one one or two swipes and move on. I'm trying to get out of the gym, not exfoliate! lolI've never used a microfiber towel before and was skeptic and ready to return this - definitely will not happen. Love this towel.Oh bonus though. It tends to stick to itself a little more than a cotton towel and its light too. So when you tie it around your waist, you don't have to fudge with it and go "the emperor has no clothes.. whatsoever". It'll just stay there while you change.Oh and in addition to drying me as well as my usual bath towel, the best part is when you dry the sweat (which a regular cotton towel doesn't do well at all once even a bit wet), this thing feels "cool" on your skin and sucks that sweat right off you. Awesome. Don't have to go home with that wet T-Shirt anymore. And of course, it takes NO SPACE (maybe 30% of a same size towel? if that?) and dries so quickly in the dryer with my gym clothes. The only thing that sucks is I didn't know about this sooner and lugged around a giant towel all these years.

One Towel, So Many Uses
These are the best travel towels. If we're going away for a weekend and need to pack towels, we use these as shower towels since they take up so much less room than regular towels and they also dry very quickly. These towels are also great for water parks for the same reason. We often hang them from the stroller and on a sunny day they're dry within an hour or two. Since they're so compact, they also store nicely in the back of the car. With young kids, I never know when I'll need an extra towel after my kid finds a particularly tempting puddle. And sand really does not stick on them so they are perfect for the beach too. The sport and travel towel is perfect for an average female to use to dry off after a swim. We have the lime, gray, red, and ocean/navy colors. I did have issues with the red towel bleeding so I had to wash it separately for the first 15+ washes, but I haven't had that issues with any other colors. I'd recommend washing the towels separately first and throwing in an old white sock to see if the color bleeds before you stick the towels in with other clothing.

Smooth, soft, color-fast and absorbent
I purchased the beach towel version (32" x 68") of the YogaRat towel to use as a large but compact beach/pool towel. I'm 6'-1" so I wanted a large towel and I like to travel light- if I cannot fit it into a day-pack, it's not coming with me. I chose and received the Ember/Sun color combo- basically bright, warm red with bright orange piping. I had no color preference but figured the bright colors would be easy to spot at a pool or on a beach. Other customers have reported dye bleeds, even after washing and drying. I do not know about other colors, but the ember/sun combo = no dye-bleed. I washed and dried my towel with other like colored clothing as soon as I received it and a couple of days later, brought it with me on a one week beach trip. Day one, I was in white board shorts and sat/laid on this towel wet and dry for hours with zero dye transfer. Day two, I spread it over a light-gray chair and sat against it wearing a white, cotton tee shirt- no bleed. At the end of the week, no color-transfer of any kind to anything, even washing with dissimilar, lighter colors. The towel itself is thin and soft to the touch, but not like most microfiber fabrics. There is nothing "puffy or fluffy" about it. It is flat. It doesn't have the glossy "plastic-feel" that some of the flat microfiber towels do. Instead, it feels almost like felt. But, it DOES absorb water very well and is comfortable on at least my skin. Oddly, it doesn't dry very quickly as compared to other "terry" towels. In a clothes dryer- no problem, but hanging or laid in the sun, it stays damp for quite a while. I suppose that's a consequence of its absorbency- designed to pull water away and hold it so it doesn't give the water up easily. It was great for the beach. It is ridiculously compact. When folded, it's about the size/thickness of an ipad. When rolled, it's about the size of a 32 ounce water bottle. Open it up, and the 32" x 68" looks huge. As added bonus, no sand pushes through it when you lay on it and one gentle shake and the backside is sand free- no semaphore required as with the ten-minute sand shake for terry looped-towels. The fabric is smooth so it won't snag. AS far as warmth, it is thin so you don't get the fur-coat feeling or help you retain heat per se, BUT it blocks the wind beautifully. All of the stitching, even the hanging loop (teal-colored on mine), is of very good quality. I have only had it for a couple of weeks, but expect it will perform well in the long-run. Maybe not for everyone, but personally, I love it!

1/2 the space, 1/4 the weight, better drying results that standard terrycloth
We tried this towel on the recommendation of a friend. It is better than she even suggested! My daughter is a competitive swimmer, and her towels take up a large amount of the space in her swim bag, and they stay so heavy once they are wet. The SportLite towel we purchased from YogaRat has all but solved that problem. It takes up very little space, compared to the fluffy terrycloth towels she normally carries, and it wrings out almost dry, so there is little weight to it when we have to toss all of her stuff back in the swim bag to shlep it back to the car. This will not be our last purchase. I plan to replace all of her towels with the SportLite towels. You definitely have a repeat customer here!

Great size for my swimmer- it fits into his swim ...
Great size for my swimmer- it fits into his swim training bag without taking up too much space and dries really quickly. Washes well and retains colour without bleeding.

packs easily, and dries fast in any climate
I purchased two of the Sport towels as Christmas presents for my parents, and they arrived quickly. I have had one of them for a few years now and I never travel without it. It is light, packs easily, and dries fast in any climate. The towel is also a perfect size and weight to wrap my hair in when it is wet. After a few years of use, it still looks good as new. The colours don't bleed and the fabric is durable and soft.

Awesome towels. Quick drying and soft to use. They've held up well despite multiple washings. These are the go-to towels I use during my gym workouts. Would buy again.

Perfect for travel and the gym.
Super light and compact vs a cotton towel. It doesn't feel as nice when you're wiping off all the water off your body but it absorbs and gets you dry much faster than a normal towel. Great product!
