Hi, i have manfrotto tripods and thus only manfrotto mounts and quick releases. can someone please tell me what else i need for use with this gimbal?

You need Arca-Swiss type mounting plates. I have some manfrotto plates and they do not work too wide.

Does it include the Mounting/Balancing Plate?

NO, it does not. They say it does - but mine did not include the plate, and the whole packaged seemed suspicious.
