I took the Farsi class at the University of Colorado, Boulder with Prof. Reza and could not have had a better time learning about the culture and language. This book encompasses everything an intermediate speaker should need to be successful in everyday conversation. What makes this book next level is the use of vocabulary words that are used in every section as well as the dictionary in the back of the book. In my years of studying this language I found it extremely easy to understand what was being said throughout the lessons. The focus on poetry in the book also opened up a deeper look into the Persian culture and I enjoyed this most of all. If you are looking to continue learning Farsi you NEED this book.

If you are looking to learn Farsi in a very easy way then BUY THIS BOOK! Everything is straight forward and clear. I tried learning Farsi from other Farsi/Persian books, but they were very hard to follow. This is the first Farsi book where you can learn Farsi and it not be difficult. This was the best $79.05 that I have invested in. I can honestly say I have 0 regrets, and I would recommend this book to anyone trying to learn Farsi or trying to better themselves in the Farsi language.

This book, like the beginner edition, is the best textbook for students learning Persian today. Professor Farokhfal has written a book that utilizes a variety of teaching techniques so students of all learning styles can benefit and learn thoroughly. Your Farsi will improve tremendously from using this book.
