Not a Receiver. A *Musical Instrument*
This is not "a receiver." This is a musical instrument. I quickly plugged in my ProJect turntable and 17-year old speakers, (both of which are slated for replacement)...a few tweaks....it was just *something else.* I put on a gorgeous LP of Days Of Future Passed, a record I've listened to thousands of times, and heard subtleties, production variations and intricacies I've simply never noticed before in my life. Then I put on a UK White Album. That thing just sang. Rich with musical power and delicacy all at once. The sheer multidimensional depth and 3-D soundstage this receiver presents totally in the analog world is mind-blowing. I couldn't stop listening. I was growing hungry and had to stop out of sheer starvation. If you're ready for **MUSIC** it's time to invest in the RR-2150. The only limitation the RR-2150 has is going to be what you plug into it.

outstanding!
I did some review searching before I bought, and this unit is a big step up from the standard amplifiers. I don't know if it matches the high end tube units, but I can hear a clear difference in the response of my speakers to the unit when playing LP or CD. The tuner does a much better job of pulling signal and eliminates a lot of noise that I used to hear. I am glad I "moved up" to this unit.

Watch out if you ever have an issue.
Wow, I am really disappointed. I bought this 8/2015. By July 2016, the speaker selector switch had to be replaced. They replaced it with a refurbished switch, not new. The excuse was that sometimes a refurb is better than new. I said, why not just use refurbs on all your switches then. At the same time, I had them check on the source selector switch, which makes an electronic click thru the speakers when the source is changed. Their explanation was that this is normal if you have a source connected with nothing attached on the other end, i.e., the aux cord plugged in but nothing connected to the aux cord as a source. I no longer have an aux connected, same issue. Just decided to deal with it and turn volume down prior to changing sources, but as I called in to talk about a new issue, and mentioned this one again, Jim at Outlaw said I had a DC issue somewhere else causing this, today, 6/29/17. The reason for my call to Outlaw today was that I have a hum in the unit when phono is selected and a TT hooked up that gets louder as the volume goes up. Unplug the TT and the TT ground, then hum becomes a hissing noise that also gets louder as the volume goes up. Jim, at outlaw, said that some noise through the phono stage is normal. SO, now I have to box this up again and send it in for them to check the unit out, again. And when I do this I will hook up my Yamaha R500-S and not have any problems with it, I just thought it might be nice to "upgrade". I'm, 51 years old and have owned many good, not so good and great pieces, and have never had these kinds of issues. All of you audio people know what a hassle this is. My other real issue, is that whenever there is a question about the unit, it's "normal" for it to do that. I'm sure that their pieces are typically solid, and it does sound really nice, but at what price. They are finger pointers and it's always normal.

The kind of Receiver that turns heads. It will stop you in your tracks!!
I really cannot put into words what I wish to say about the Outlaw Audio RR 2150 Receiver. Although I didn't purchase it through Amazon I would still like to share my opinion on this one of a kind receiver. I purchased it straight from the Outlaw site. I have had this incredible unit for about two years now. So I have had plenty of time to get to know the 2150. I'm not loaded with cash. I live paycheck to paycheck. I've had to buy my system one peace at a time. I guess I am somewhat of a audiophile. I know I love music and I want it to sound good. I received it while at work. I couldn't wait to rush home and give it a listen. Once home I moved my Sansui 890 out of its place. I then preseded to connect the RR 2150. I had it up and running within 30 mins. My first impression was not so great. It didn't impress me. So after two hours or more I was discouraged. I put my 890 back and let the Outlaw set until the following weekend. The next weekend I set her up in another room. I put a CD on and just let it play. I was doing other things around the house. At one moment I walked passed the 2150 and I stopped in my tracks. Where was this sound coming from? I did serval double takes. This fine receiver is the kind that will turn heads. Not only from its Unique appearance but the sound. The sound out preforms every receiver I've ever owned. I have four Sansui Receivers, three Pioneers, and have had two Fishers in the 90's. Not to mention Onkyo and Integra which I own. Don't get me wrong they all sound good. But they can't top the Outlaw. My Sanusi 890 comes close. That's all, just close. Like I said I don't know how to put into words the sound that comes from this awesome machine. Only that it sounds good. Highs Mids and Bass all stand out to me. Crystal clear with bass that seems too growl. It has bass without a sub but I prefer a sub. I use two of them. All I can say is put it in your best sounding room. Get a good set of speakers. Get a sub or two. Then play with it. Find that sweet spot with its settings. Then just set back and enjoy!!

Finally!!
I have been searching for a stereo or integrated amp $1000 or under to drive my B&W CM1s for a while. I have tried NAD, Marantz, Onkyo, Rotel & Cambridge Audio. All have left me feeling unsatisfied. I kept seeing this receiver and the good reviews that it was getting. I decided to try it out. The moment that I heard it, I knew this was the one! My search was over & haven't looked back. If you have a pair of speakers that you are having trouble getting to sound good, give this a try. They give a 30 day no questions asked return policy if you don't like it. I give it my highest recommendation.
