I had small sun flowers
I planned these and all the sunflowers were the same. Not very big, came to about the top of my wood fence in my yard. Will have to cut the stalks when the die off or else it looks like old dead poles in your yard.

Amazing seeds! Biggest sunflowers of my life!
I have never grown bigger or stronger sunflowers than the ones I grew with these seeds.I planted them all over my yard, some grew pretty "normally" with a range of 2-4 feet in height (depending on where they were planted--the ones exposed to more sunlight grew larger). However, I am writing this review to talk about the 7-10 feet sunflowers that grew from these seeds.I'm not sure what I did to get these amazing monster sunflowers to grow but they grew quickly and were some of the largest sunflowers I have ever seen. The stalks were so thick that once they were fully grown I couldn't wrap my hand around the base (and I can wrap my hand around my wrist). Not only were the stalks very thick and tall, but the actual flowers themselves were freakin' huge. Some of them couldn't handle the weight of their own sunflower heads. They produced an enormous amount of edible seeds.I'm 5'5" and these things TOWERED above me. It was amazing basically.Point is I recommend these seeds above any other seeds. You will likely get a range of sizes, beautiful color, and plenty of edible seeds. I bought more to plant this year and I'm hoping to see some fun results!

Great product!!
Love my sunflowers!!! I planted mine 2 months ago and I got my first full bloom today! I HIGHLY recommend buying stakes for these bad boys! Mine were almost dead before I put stacks behind them. Once I did they perked up immediately!!I started my sunflowers off in a large whiskey barrel pot. I used Miracle Grow soil and sand I had in a sand bag from a storm (what! Every review I read said they can grow anywhere). Well those reviews were rightSince I've never gardened before and I have zero talent in the plants department I wasn't sure what to do with them as they started growing. I quickly learned I needed to spread them out so I replanted them throughout my yard. They did great for a day or two then started to die. Water didn't seem to help out so after reading several blogs I learned that you should use stakes. Once I put in the stakes in they started to flourish.I can't wait for the rest of my sunflowers to grow! 😍🌻

Good buy
I planted these directly into the ground, in NYS, in late May or early June. I only used about 50 seeds and about 40 came up. Then I replanted the other 10, and about 5 of them came up.It could have to do with the location, the birds, who knows. These haven't grown large enough to bloom yet so I can't speak for how tall they will grow. But I am satisfied with the purchase so far!Update to add: It is not the first week of July and we have been experiencing a drought. I watered these every day when they were tiny, then gradually spaced it out. I am now deep watering every 3 days and they are growing well. Still only about 1 ft tall, and no blooms (as expected). I have not lost a single plant yet.

sun life
I purchased these sunflowers a while ago, but I hadn't planted them yet, because I needed to do research and clear a path for them. I planted them about three weeks ago, and they're already about five inches high. I've never been serious about growing anything, but I figured id give it a shot since sunflowers are my favorite plant. The dirt where I'm at is pretty sandy, and these flowers don't care. I water them once a day, remove weeds, and admire. They're cruising on auto pilot at the moment, but soon I'm going to have to thin them out a bit more, because they need space if they're going to get super tall.Update....here they are during the first month.

5 stars because I like the canister and I'm using it as a pencil ...
5 stars because I like the canister and I'm using it as a pencil holder. The seeds looked great and I had fun (sort of, it's really hot outside) planting them with my son; however, when I went to look the next day they had been dug up and eaten by birds. (I don't know why I looked the next day. I knew they wouldn't have grown by then. I guess I was just excited). Not the company's fault. I just have greedy birds I guess. I already set out a feeder for them, but they just HAD to have MY seeds. Tsk tsk.

Definitely worth it!
I was able to germinate about 95% of these seeds using the paper towel method. I've moved them out to the yard and now we wait! So if they don't grow it's probably something I did wrong! The packaging is really cute, it comes with instructions for a variety of things from planting your seeds, caring for your flowers, drying out the seeds to eat, to harvesting the seeds of next year. I also received an email from the company asking if I was happy with my purchase which is a new thing I'm seeing from companies selling on Amazon that I think is just great.

The seeds are great and the container/directions are too
I have purchased two of these so far. The seeds are great and the container/directions are too. The only reason this didn't get a five is that there are not a consistent number of seeds. I needed them for wedding favors. First pack had over 620, second pack only had about 540. I realize it does not state a specific number, but I feel that's quite a big difference, especially since I needed at least1200. Now I'll have to buy another pack.
