Got these for an entomology project my son is doing. They came fast and are perfect. The little plastic tube they come in is nice for storing them I appreciated that.

I bought these for my gen entomology course and for personal use and you get quite a few pins for the price! The smaller ones have some give (as expected), but they work great for their intended purpose. I did drop one off of my table and it landed sharp side down directly into my leg so I would definitely say with confidence that they’re sharp enough to pin most insects.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve always wanted to try pinning butterflies and decided to give it a go. I loved how sharp and thin these pins were and they got the job done. My only qualm - and this may be due to my novice status - was that I wished the heads of the pins were bigger. At times, it was really difficult to grip them as I tweaked the layout. Overall satisfied though!

I used these to mount outside finds to a shadowbox. These pins are great because they are nearly invisible from a little ways away. I didn't want pins that distracted from the arrangement itself, and these were perfect. They are pretty strong too. They are holding up the weight of a raccoon and possum skull, so I'd say they're pretty sturdy. My only complaint is that they are a little flimsy and bendy when you're trying to push them through, but that's to be expected since they're not supposed to be seen. Be careful when pushing the tiny little dots on the end with your finger.

I use this brand exclusively so I knew the pins would be good. They all showed up in every size so I'd say I'm pretty happy! They didn't have my size two 3 pack I get so I settled with this which was fine because I had some small insects to pin anyway
