Just what the doctor ordered
I was a little dubious when I first ordered this because of the difference in price between this and the official Microsoft stylus but after unpacking and using it for a couple of minutes all of those doubts disappeared.I alsu use a docking station which has a magnetic side panel for holding the stylus when not in use and thought that that might be where they had reduced costs in the materials used but have no doubts the stylus is not just cheap plastic it has a metal core that holds in place against the magnetic side. From reading the specs I could see that there were fewer pressure levels on this compared to the Microsoft stylus but then I thought, with the arthritis in my hands can I even tell what level of pressure between 1 and 10,000 I am exerting and do I need that many. I want to use this as a pointing/writing device. I am not a graphic artist and this fulfils all of the needs that I require. It feels great in the hand. Large enough for my clumsy hands and small enough to not be in the way. A nice material that is shaped well so that it is comfortable to hold. It comes in a range of colours that I am sure will satisfy most tastes and most of all it works really well when used with my Surface pro 3 or my wifes Surface pro 5.I have no qualms about recommending this stylus to anybody using the Microsoft Surface Pro.

Cheap and cheerful but functions.
If your after a cheap surface pen for occasional use then this is fine.On my Surface Go 2 this connected easily once I inserted the batteries. Press the pen button and hold for around 5 secs to switch off/on. The pens build quality feels very cheap and the magnet in the pen is not strong enough to fix the pen to the side of tablet. The pen wrote with reasonable accuracy and was responsive. The buttons also functioned ok.The pressure on the pen nib didn't seem to be picked up very well. With too little pressure it wouldn't write, when enough gets applied pressing harder didn't change the output detected. You get what you pay for! if you need an accurate pen don't bother with this, but if you want something for occasional use its value for money.

Good - just a bit 'fat'
This is a good pen with excellent ergonomics. However I was looking for a replacement for my son's Educational Microsoft pen (unavailable except through schools etc) and this one, unfortunately doesn't fit the bill since it has too large a diameter. All the cases for Surface Pros and Gos are designed to hold a pen with the standard Microsoft pen diameter. As a result, this can't fit since it is a good 2-3 mm wider. For a pen which will be used by a child (as it is clearly designed), this isn't going to work unless that doesn't matter to you.The pen is, however good - I tested it before returning it. So it does merit high marks, subject to the considerations above. If I were the seller, I would state specifically how much wider in terms of diameter it is than the Microsoft one to avoid disappointment.

Easy to use
Never used a touch screen pen before. This is proving easy to use - and very well priced in comparison with the branded version I could have bought alongside my new laptop. I bought it to try a pen out before deciding whether to purchase the expensive version - but i can see absolutely no reason to change it!

Cheap but it works work...
Basically this is gen 1 n-trig technology, so works with all current n-trig screens (Surface, Ausu Transformer mini). It doesn't support the full 4028 levels of sensitivity as newer techs, but for the price it does everything I've needed (inking and basic sketching).Doesn't seem to have a replacement nib, but it's half the price of official surface pen nibs!!

Bit too bulky for me, but a handy spare.
Compared to the original surface pen, which i lost, this one is bulk and hard to get used to. I'm not sure if the response time is slow due to my surface 4 or if its the pen, so cannot complain about that really. If your trying to do any fine details needing pin point accuracy, i'd try a slimmer pen (Which I've ordered after using thing for a couple of weeks) . Will be a handy spare but if you want something that feels similar to the original Surface Pen, this isn't for you.

Amazing brand alternative
Absolutely love this product! I was so devistated when I lost my surface pro pen two months after being given it for Christmas (with the surface pro 6). I really didn't want to cough up £70 odd if I was just going to lose it again; so I looked at the reviews for this pen and bought it, choosing the blue so I was less likely to lose it! Worked amazingly till I lost it last week 🤦♀️ just bought another one in red. Definitely worth the money and batteries that initially come with the pen lasted me months!
