RUICHENXI Waterproof 256GB USB Flash Drive Pen Drive Memory Stick with Keychain (256GB)

My Mac didn’t recognize initially until I formatted the drive on my PC. Now both formats recognize the drive and it‘s doing it’s job. Looks nice, large capacity and great price! Very satisfied.

I ordered this because it looked like it would hold a lot but was also compact. It was exactly what I was expecting. I do think I could have found something cheaper but this is worth the extra money to know you will get something that works as it says. Especially if you are in a pinch and need it ASAP. Overall I have been impressed! 😊

Over and over again, I copied folders to this drive, only to have them reported as empty minutes later. This happened whether I copied the entire folder from my hard drive, or first created a folder on the jump drive and then copied only the files contained in a folder to that newly created folder. Despite being reported as empty by the file system (no files in the folder, folder contains 0 bytes), when I copied files into the empty folder, I was asked whether I wanted to replace the files already there (so there was inconsistent information about what files were in existence on the jump drive). When I asked for them to be replaced, in some cases, that resulted in an apparently successful copy, and in other cases, it did not. Even when a copy operation was apparently successful at first, the folder sometimes turned out to be reported as empty again minutes later. The long and short of this is that one cannot count on files copied to the drive being accessible after they are copied, which makes the drive worthless.

After getting and returning a couple of terrible USB drives here on Amazon, I found this one. I work in a law enforcement facility so I needed something highly portable, yet sturdy and also allowed quick access. I also needed something slim to wear on a lanyard along with my badge, keys and radio. unlike some of the other bulkier/heavier USB flash drives I purchased which were either difficult to open quickly, or cheap and fell apart almost immediately, this one was perfect mix of form and function. I also needed a drive that was cross-compatible with multiple OS systems (older and newer PC Windows, as well as the latest Mac OS). It is formatted as FAT32; while it is slower than other formats, FAT32 is the only format that ensures maximum compatibility with many operating systems. I also needed a lot of storage. Again, this drive hit all the marks, where the previous two drives failed on all areas I've mentioned above. The price was very fair for 256GB as well. I highly recommend this product.

Just a high quality product! I received it, used it right away. I formatted it just to make sure and it works great! Tons of memory which is very convenient and great value for the price.

After 24 hours of copying files to the drive (160GB worth of files) the drive still only states 44GB used, and anything three folders deep or more is totally missing. Superficial files that are top-most folder were no problem. Spent way too many hours trying to track down which files were ignored or dropped in the copy process. Pain in the @$$. Doesn't matter that is "waterproof" because it does a great job of losing your files without any water needed.

Works as expected, lots of storage space, quick transfer. Like the small size and key chain

Just drop and drag files to flash drive. Holds a lot of files and music. Keychain is convenient. Before adding files, make sure to format flash drive. Once formatted, files are safely on flash drive.
