We bought these to use at our business. We are discontinuing having a front desk person, and wanted to be able to give employees and clients a passcode they could use during business hours. Turns out there is no way (or at least no apparent way) to secure these locks so that only the "admin" people have access. Nor can the deadbolt function can't be invoked from outside, meaning that if there is nobody home the door is only locked by the standard door catch. Finally, it should be noted that these do not fit standard US-style mortise lock doors.I wanted to like these, I really did. I suppose I could make them work, but only by adding a standard key deadbolt in a new location.

I feel cheated I had to pay for the installation, since it can not be installed in the standard holes and once installed you can not use the door with another type of lock of don't change the door. the fingerprint reading is very bad, the app is not very functional and, moreover, it does not open from the cell phone.

Grabbed mine at $130 and for that price these are some of the nicest, beginner friendly, good looking, function at extremely low temps no problem sub -35°f. Some features could be drastically improved with as little as software coding, some at firmware level, lots in Chinese to English translation could be improved. Get ready to hear password rejisted instead of password rejected. Still has almost 0 functions compared to my first Chinese ibutton code locks which allowed me to set time tables, lockout times, ability to change auto locking, amount of times 1 password can be used for and time tables for when it can be used, 1000 ID entries, ability to turn sound on or off and they only cost me $75 back then. All that side I'm still extremely happy with these for home purchase aside from having to make a aluminum boarder under the lock to cover the remaining 1/3" of holes from prior setup
