Nice book to read

This collection of poetry is masterfully compiled to walk you through the stages of healing needed after a discard from a narcissist. I came across it about four or five months after I walked away from a very toxic relationship. I ordered a hard copy so that I could hold it and write notes in it, and I'm so glad that I did.The reminders that came were as if my own heart had written these poems as letters to myself, as reminders that it is okay to do good for yourself. It is okay to walk away from toxic. And it is okay to forgive yourself no matter what terrible things have been issued upon you by another.This collection is an incredible tool for healing your heart and soul after a bad breakup. Even more so if that bad break up was with a toxic narcissist who wanted to replace you with a new supply and keep you waiting in the harem garage.I have already recommended this collection to several people who are dealing with that same sense of turmoil after such a relationship. And I would certainly recommend it to you.

This book provides you closure. This book reminds you that you don’t need to forgive them or expect an apology. This book is to the point and it’s extremely helpful in understanding why I feel the way I do. Please buy this book. Especially if you need alittle more answers in your life

Every woman needs this book. We have all been wronged by someone in our lives, and this book is so therapeutic. A must read.

I just love love this book! True story of our life

I spent 2-3 nights before bed to flip through this poetry book. Many times I have to read the page again6 because the last page or the first few sentences of this page triggered so much memory. I end up sinking into my own head while my eyes were skimming thru the words without taking much in. If you are going through this or have gone through a breakup where you never received closure from the partner, this is a magical little book that touches the last layer of your tired soul.I don't find it helpful in terms of making my problem disappear. But it does help with putting my tangled emotions into words, and reading them out loud forces you to see it through logical sense instead of "a big ball of emotion cannot be handled".To an extremely analytical person like me, no matter what others say, as long as the closure or apology doesn't come from that specific person, it never counts. It feels like lying to yourself.However, it feels good to know at least someone understands, at least you're not alone in this.

Brilliant book. Would happily sit and read it all in one go if I had the time.

I expected something more from this poem book, not sure why. Perhaps after reading Rupi Kaur which I really connected with.The book is quite thin, not much to it. And I suppose poetry is a subjective thing. This wasn't for me. I felt like I was getting advice but not really advice, and it wasn't helpful. I have loaned the book to a friend and wouldn't miss it if I never got it back.
