Aleicx Audio Cable Cord with Mic and Control Compatible with/Replacement for Bose QuietComfort 3 QC3 QC 3 Repl

I bought this cord to work with my Bose QC25 headphones with my 2017 iMac. The cord seems to be built well, and is almost indistinguishable from the original. Unfortunately there was a volume issue when using it with my computer (a single click of the +/- volume would "stick" and push the volume all the way to 0% or 100%). When I emailed the company they immediately sent me replacements to test which was great. Unfortunately the replacements had the same issue, but they took the info about my computer to try and resolve the issue in the future and gave me a full refund (and even promised to send me a cord in the future after they fix the issue). While I didn't wind up keeping the cord, it's worth a shot for you to try with your device (which may not have the same issue) since the customer service is so great.

This cable works well for connecting to my MacBook so that I can listen to music, but the microphone quality is very bad. When I tried to use it to speak with somebody, they are not able to hear me very well at all. I am unable to use it for that purpose and have to switch to my other headphones if I ever want to use the microphone. Aside from the microphone quality, it is a fine replacement.

Old one broke, the new one fits my headphones, sounds great, and volume control works just fine. Quick and affordable fix!

Apart from the color the new cable works just as the original cable that came with my Bose headphones. I needed a new cable as my original one ended up with a bent jack pin. I didn’t care that it was black and not blue.

UPDATE: The seller sent a replacement product that has held up much better. I'd still be cautious about the cord, but I'm bumping the score up because of the vendor's responsiveness. Thanks!These cords have decent sound and the microphone works as advertised, but within a month, the cord casing near the microphone came off and any vocals on music or calls stopped coming through the headphones. These are good if you need a quick fix, but don't rely on them for long-term use.

The cable arrived quickly and works perfectly well for a replacement cable for my Bose QC25. I've also experienced the issue with the overactive volume up and down buttons, but can live without using them (also the problem seems to only occur when the cable is used on my Macbook; When it's plugged into my phone the buttons work perfectly fine). The mic works fine for phone calls and I have not experienced any issues with them so far.I would recommend this product, especially for the price, if you can live without the vol up and down buttons.

I just ordered one of these. The volume buttons exhibit a sticky behavior: when you release the button, the volume on my laptop (Macbook Air) goes up to 100% or down to 0%.Also, when plugged into my phone, there is this droning fast-click sound, reminiscent of (but different from) the hum from HiFi speakers that aren't grounded properly.for something that seems like it's just a wire with a bunch of conductors, I would expect better than this.

Great replacement. Exactly what I expected. However, my previous cable didn't have aright angle cable plug. This makes use with Xbox one controllers a bit awkward at times. So... 4 stars instead of 5. Great product.
