These were a return purchase.I purchased to go in a light fixture I wasn’t plugging in, that hung above a mirror in my hallway and these didn’t give me enough light for what I was looking for.I think these are a great concept, just didn’t illuminate the space like the photos.

These are great little lights, and, in theory, easy to install. All you do is attached adhesive magnet to your surface (in my case a kitchen cabinet), and you're done. The only problem was that the adhesive side was not sticky enough to stay on my rough wood (pressboard?) under cabinet surface, so I ended up using a velcro-style product with a stronger adhesion. Once that was in place, it really is easy to remove and reinstall the lights for charging.The only other drawback was that I specifically ordered this brand over others, because a couple of reviews stated that the motion detector works even during the daytime. I have not found that to be the case. It doesn't have to be completely dark, but my motion detector won't turn the lights on until it starts to get a little dark in my kitchen. My workaround is to turn them on manually.That being said, they are still very handy lights to have at a reasonable price. You can switch them on and off manually, if the motion detector doesn't kick in when you need it. They are easy to detach to re-charge, and it is a real bonus not to have to buy batteries.Best of all, the customer service is outstanding. When I emailed the company about my lights not turning on during the day, they immediately sent me out a replacement set. (These did work a little better, but were still not as responsive as I would have liked.) When I told them about the magnets not sticking to my cupboard, they offered me a credit of $3 to pay for something that might work better for me. (the velcro squares.)Obviously, $3 either way is not going to break the bank. But what I most appreciate is this company's willingness to ensure customer satisfaction. I am much more wiling to buy their products, because I know they will stand behind them.And so, I am going to order a couple more sets for the interior of a dark pantry (where I'm confident the motion detector will work every time!) that has become a bit of a black hole.Shopping online can be a bit risky, even with Amazon, so it is a pleasure to come across a company that truly stands behind its products.

I love every thing about this light! It was packaged very well and arrived complete and in perfect condition. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. LOVE LOVE LOVE the recharge batteries came pre-charged and ready to use immediately AND a SUB cable is included! Also, they came with very low profile magnets to secure where ever needed. There's also a shallow indention on the light that makes reseating it after recharging super easy. BEST of all the light is clean and bright.I intend to purchase more for my use and for a family member in the mountains relying on solar and generator for power. The also have wood burning stove. They have two young children and an eight dog sled team ... yeah, I know pretty cool, huh? Well with the many smallish feet in their home was candles and oil lanterns aren't good options if solar and 2.5 generators fail at same time.I had gifted battery operated candles and lanterns to them but even rechargeable batteries can be a pain to recharge two or four at a time using a regular house outlet or generator outlet.These lights are so much better because if primary and secondary power is lost they can recharge them in their vehicles which each have more than one charging option. Even the lighter port of 1993 Jeep can be used to charge them!I can hardly wait to get more ... this is the best invention to provide extra light, or light favorite displays, or keep the shadows at bay when the Rocky Mountain winter winds are howling louder than a pack of huskies.I just realized we can keep one or two of these lights in our cars for emergency lighting. Leaving interior lights on with ignition off can drain your battery quickly. Keeping the engine running depletes the fuel. Just saying ...

Let me first say that these work great. My house is around 90 years old, and lacks the lighting you might find in a modern home, say, in the pantry, or above the laundry area. These are perfect for those situations. Just one of these is indeed sufficient for a full-height pantry if you can place it properly (our shelves don't come all the way forward to the door, which leaves room on the side wall to mount and illuminate the entire area). The laundry area light works almost as well, save for a few false triggers from being near more foot traffic. It just needs to be recharged more often.Now, the downside. The third time I went back to the pantry, the light was already out. I grabbed it, intending to recharge it, and when I'd connected it to power, realized that it was in full random trigger mode. Even sitting upside-down on my desk, the light would come on at completely random times, at least once every two minutes. That's why it was already discharged. I put it in a ziplock bag and left it in the freezer overnight, thinking maybe a bug had gotten into the works. No change. Kudos to the design for surviving the night in my freezer, though.Around this time, I received an email from Bason, asking me to review the item, or to contact them if I needed anything. I told them what happened. They immediately set me up with another 2-pack. Of those two, however, one didn't respond to motion at all. Boom, another 2-pack. Finally, these worked as intended.Final verdict? Yes, these really do work as advertised, when they work. They are bright, easy to install, and the price is right. Also, Bason customer service is excellent! Just be ready to learn this for yourself.

Love the motion censor— maybe that’s who the batteries drained so fast

great idea but the battery life gets shorter and shorter between recharges.

I own 3 sets of these. The first two sets work great. The third set I just purchased are pretty bad. One barely picks up motion while the other does not detect motion at all.

The lights brightness is as twice as of a candle in a dark room so it is good for small places like passage or bathrooms. But not that bright.

I didn't had any electrical point in my showcase. These lights are perfect solution for decoration of my showcase.

Not worth the quality, it is not built to last for more than 2-3 months
