I am amazed! I give her a little less than the ...
My girl (65 pound black lab mix) has "leaked" on and off for as long as I've had her. She is nearly 9 years old, and I adopted her after she was spayed at about 6 months old. (I have read that spaying a dog before her first heat can cause this.) It would always happen after she took a swim, came home, and fell asleep. But it also happened other times (not after a swim) when she would be asleep and wake up to a puddle. It wasn't every day. Maybe once a week, sometimes less. My vet suggested surgery early on, but I just decided to live with it. Recently, it became more frequent, which I've read is common as a female dog gets older. In one week, she leaked about once a day, give or take. My vet suggested a prescription, but when I read about it, one of the possible side effects is hypertension and/or increased aggression. My girl is already kind of anxious sometimes, and has had issues with some other dogs. We've worked really hard to create balance and calmness, so heightening these tendencies is not something I was willing to risk. I stumbled upon this product while I was looking for alternatives to the prescription drug. Perhaps it is a fluke, but so far, I am amazed! I give her a little less than the recommended dose for her weight -- 2 pills in the morning and 1 pill at dinner. She eats them like a treat. After only a day or two, there was no leaking! I thought it was just a coincidence at first, she has been on it for about 35 days now, and the problem is pretty much gone. Occasionally (may 3 or 4 times since starting the pills), she will leave just a tiny wet spot, a little larger than a silver dollar. So I consider the problem solved. And there have been no side effects at all. I wish I'd known about this 8 years ago! I definitely plan to tell my vet about it.

As great as everyone says! Who needs Proin?
We went looking for Proin online after the vet demanded expensive visits every 4 months (extremely excessive in my opinion) and raised the price of the prescription on us. Turns out there's some scheduled ingredients in there that are used to make meth or something (which is scary in itself), so it's pretty much unavailable online without a prescription. We started looking for alternative options while shopping for a new vet, and when we saw all the positive reviews of this stuff we decided to give it a whirl. It is awesome. The price can't be beat compared to the vet's prescriptions, and Delilah has had NO problems since she started on it. We had to experiment with her dosage at first (as it seems many folks have), but once we got that down, her sleep-leaking and has pretty much disappeared and her general incontinence has slowed down significantly. No more washing all the dogbeds every single day, and no more pee smell everywhere! YAY! We have not noticed any difference in her behavior or any other side effects, either (which we definitely would have on our recent 2-week RV trip in close quarters with the dogs); she's still her energy- and drive-filled 15 year old self. The new vet's cool with it, the dog's cool with it, so I'm definitely cool with it! The only issue at all, and it's a ridiculously insignificant thing, is that the pills themselves smell pretty dang bad. It's not a problem for the dog, though; she seems to love them. And it's much better than the smell of pee in the house. I couldn't be happier that I found these!

Did not help at all :(
My dog has started to have incontinence problems over the last couple of years while resting or sleeping. We have been using “earth animal urinary and kidney relief” for the last two years with great results, however, it stopped working as her issue progressed. Her vet prescribed Proin. Upon the first dose, it worked immediately, however, it also made her restless, and she vomited multiple times. I started researching more homeopathic remedies instead of another prescription and it came down between this or another choice. Honestly, if anything, her issue seemed to get worse. She was wetting herself multiple times a day and puddles at a time. We discontinued after about a week and she is back to the way she was before. We are now starting Incurin and pray for no side effects.

Finally something that works!
I waited a month to write this review to see if it really works. My collie has spay incontinence that we have been fighting for 3 years since she was 3 years old. When you have a long-coated beautiful dog who was sleeping in her leaks, it is a nightmare for her. And no fun for us. She was first on Proin and it was awful. Her heart was jumping out of her chest. After some research, I found out about Incurin. That seemed to help, but she still dribbled a lot and every three or four days had full incontinence. And she was on the highest dose. I did a lot of reading to find a natural product. So after reading the reviews of this product, I thought why not. For the first week, I gave it to my girl along with the Incurin. She had only one leak. My hubby and I were afraid we were double-dosing her with hormones (even though this one is natural) so we very daringly took her off the Incurin. It is now a full month since we bought the product and OMG no leaks after the first week!!! You should see my husband and me as we walk out every morning to check her bed (covered in a waterproof mattress cover). Whoever is out first can't wait to report the good news. To be honest I am afraid of writing this and jinxing it! So the lowdown! It works. My girl takes it like a treat most mornings. Once in a while, she turns her head away. So I just put it in her mouth. She chews it right up. The price compared to Incurin is fabulous! I cannot tell you how happy I am to have found this. Not sure how it would work for other dogs. But it works for my collie girl.

Works pretty well but not perfectly
My white German Shepherd has had hormonal incontinence since we got her at a year old. She uncontrollably pees herself, giant puddles wherever she lays. She can’t help it. The vet has had her on Proin for years but they keep raising the price of it. It was $90 for a full bottle when I last bought it. I’ve been trying to find something more natural and cheaper for her. The first couple of days on these pills she seemed to get worse. But now it seems to be working pretty well. It’s not 100% like the proin worked because I still find little tiny dribbles here and there once in a while and I have to make sure to let her out to the bathroom first thing in the morning. Also, she has to have the full recommend dose for her weight which is 3/twice a day. She hates the flavor so I have to force it down her throat. But I have to do that with the proin and anything else “medicated” or “healthy” because she won’t take it. She seems to be able to smell the vitamins and stuff in it and refuses. All in all, I give this 4 stars. I’d give it 5 if it worked 100% like proin did but it’s still pretty good.

Works great for my dog
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I highly recommend this product due to its effectiveness for my dog’s incontinence diagnosis. As soon as she had her first dose she stopped having accidents. Her vet was going to place her on a pharmaceutical medication with a mile long list of side effects. This supplement has no side effects. She likes them enough that she will chew them up so I don’t have to crush and add to her food.

UPDATE
Lola is now 14 and her incontinence is gone. After leaving my last review the sellers reached out to me to offer my money refunded. I passed and bought another bottle. I had seen slight improvement and wasn’t ready to give up yet! She kept improving and she has been dribble free for several months now. I’m back today buying my 4th bottle. I’m not sure she still needs it but I’m not taking any chances. No more diapers or running after the mop! Oh, she no longer needs them dipped in peanut butter, she eats them like a cookie! So my advice is don’t give up too soon, I’m sure glad I didn’t! My 13.5 year old boxer got a UTI. The Vet treated her with antibiotics which cleared up the infection but now she dribbles when she lays down. The Vet recommended these. (She sells them, but she’s an hour away from me so I checked Amazon and was thrilled to find them here). The package says it could take up to 4 weeks to work it’s been 7or 8 and there’s days it seems to be getting better but then there are days it seems worse. Not giving up yet. Oh yeah, she hates them!! The minute she smells them she walks away. I dip them in peanut butter to get her to eat them. Gotta do whatcha gotta do! If there’s a positive change, I’ll update my review.
