I've bought a few of these. I don't sleep well. Using this, I can listen to the radio at night without disturbing my wife. As such, it is a perfect little companion BUT do you remember that I said I'd bought a few of these. Well, they only last about six months before the cable breaks and that is the end of that. You won't be able to hear it through a pillow . I sleep on my side and rest it on my ear.

Great sound quality from such a little unit

I have very good hearing and a side sleeper but I can't hear it through a pillow unless immediately over the speaker. If I turn it up and my husband wasn't deaf he would hear it which is not the point of it. I now use earbuds for sidesleepers.

Seems whatever device I tried this on it had to be at full volume to be heard through a pillow.m Ok the heading and the review are exactly the same. Really there is nothing to add. Virtually useless.

dislike the very thin wire , could be thicker you have to take care not to snag it or you risk pulling the wire from the speaker.

I've had to return this item for a refund because although it is a pillow speaker, the level of sound is so low even for an ordinary pillow ( I happen to have very good hearing by the way). I used this with an iPhone 11Pro in my very quiet bedroom.

Works quite well while it lasts. However, I've now had two of these, and on both the wire has come loose internally, rendering the whole thing useless. The last one only lasted 6 months! Very poor quality.

Works well.is nice and small so comfy for ear to be over it under the pillow. But the wires into the speaker bend and come loose at point of entry. Had 2 of these and wires broken within a couple of months.
