Everything to like, nothing to dislike, wish all products sold on Amazon (or anywhere for that matter) lived up to their advertised description like this one does. The deer were a bit perplexed at first as to what it was for and wouldn't lick the block so I chipped some pieces off and crushed them and spread them on the fruits and vegetable pieces as we hand fed them to the deer like usual, after a few bites they decided they loved the salted snacks better. I then tried larger chips but the would drop them in the grass and have a hard time finding them and retrieving them. Then I strung half a dozen apples up surrounding the lick and smashed a couple apple halves on the lick so it was covered in apple mush, it worked like a charm! Now they lick it periodically (whenever they think they need it I guess) even the fawns do it. We have around a dozen deer we feed nightly and have for a few years, we live in a gated community that backs up to a state park preserve so our deer will never be hunted and this year are feeding our third generation fawns by hand. Our Kids and friends kids have been impacted so positively by the experience that as teens they now volunteer at local wildlife rescues and domestic pet shelters.

My horses love Himalayan salt. I buy these to put in their feed bins and outside by the white 50# salt lick I have for them.

I am really happy with these salt blocks. My horses love them! These blocks are a generous size and come with a nice length of very sturdy rope to fasten them inside the stall. I think these will easily last until spring! I will absolutely order again!
