In reading other reviews with one stars I learned the hard way. I purchased and installed the fuel filter that goes under the bed. Everything looked legit when comparing the parts to my existing filters. The installation was quick and fairly simple. After the install is where it got ugly. I could not get the truck to stay running, even after doing all the recommended steps. It was getting late and dark, when I finally gave up 2.5 hrs. later.Since my truck was now not able to run and was my only mode of transportation, I had to call a friend to come pick me up to go to our local parts store (which I will be patron from now on). After pulling this Amazon filter back out and inspecting the local store filter against it, I discovered that the Mopar filter did not match up with the store part. The pin in the center of the filter, that pushes up the ball at the bottom of the fuel tank is 1/8" deeper than the part store filter. That 1/8" difference made all the difference. It allowed fuel to get past the ball valve and get to the second filter and fill it completely (second filter is in the engine compartment).Since the part number is correct and everything other than the pin fit correctly, it is my opinion that these Amazon parts are probably Mopar rejects which did not meet the specs intended by Mopar. This is probably why these filters work for some. I am not going to try to get a refund, it's not worth the headache for me. I just hope I save the next person some frustration. For me, I will pay the extra money and get your parts from a local parts store. I learned the hard way, please don't do the same!
