Works great
The crimper works exactly as expected, securely crimping the ferrules onto the stripped wire. The ferrules themselves are exactly as represented. This was a great buy, well worth the low cost in my opinion.

Excellent for stranded wire and lever wire connectors
The media could not be loaded. Very high quality crimper, really nice ferrules. Works wonders with my 18 gauge stranded wire (aka lamp wire) and lever wire connectors. See video for how they work together.Note: the 18 gauge wire in the video is SPT1 thickness insulation and fits comfortably into the red insulator of the 18 gauge ferrule. I suspect the SPT2 insulation might not fit inside the insulator, but do not have experience with that.''Update: I found that the 16 gauge ferrules (black insulator) work best for the SPT2 insulation as the wire's insulation does fit inside the black insulator of the ferrule.

A must for car audio, screw post grip terminations!
These are a must for anyone utilizing electronics with screw post grip type terminal connections. No fuss, no hassle with frayed wiring. Worth every penny compared to fried devices due to stray wires!

nice kit with common sizes
used when fabrication a CNC control enclosure.Power supplies, stepper drivers, terminal blocks etc..Used all the sizes of ferrules and the crimping tool worked good.

Super speaker connection tool.
I wish I'd known about this tool a long time ago. The slickest ever for speaker connections. Really quality assortment of pins and the pliers are top drawer. With some tight wire twisting you can make #14 speaker wire fit the #16 connectors for a terrific fit. I used an ohm meter to check continuity with 4 sets of wire, spades on one end for a vintage Realistic STA-78 amp and these crimp terminals on the other for 2 pair of Sansui vintage speakers, like most, have pretty restrictive openings on the terminals. The #16 pins fit perfectly. This package can solve most of your connection issues. I abandoned a junk set of flex terminals that were a complete waste of money. Great package.

Excellent
This kit is a great value at a great price. I recently used this kit to wire up a machine with a PLC, HMI and power supply. The ferrules themselves worked perfectly and the crimping tool worked great. The tool itself does not feel like a piece of junk and does a fast, great job crimping. It makes perfectly squared and depress ribbed crimps as shown in the attached pics. The kit has plenty of pieces (100 of each size) too. I used a lot of them (mostly blacks and whites and what's shown in the pic is how many I still have left. One suggestion, don't make the same dumb mistake I did and have the case opened and up high on the thing you're working on or you'll knock it off spilling all the pieces everywhere and playing 800 piece pick up and sorting. Lol.I highly recommend this kit!

Use this to avoid broken wires
Years ago, in the 1970s while working as an electronics technician, we used to dip the ends of stripped, stranded, hook-up wire into a solder pot full of molten solder. This created a solid end that was easy to loop under screw terminals without the strands unraveling, or to slip into hooded screw terminals for a solid connection. It was much later that I and fellow technicians discovered wire ferrules that crimped onto the ends of stripped, stranded, hook-up wire to accomplish the same purpose without the bother of heating up a solder pot. Only problem was, these were at that time apparently aimed at the much larger commercial panel-builder market where hundreds if not thousands of wire ends needed to be terminated. The ferrules were not cheap, but the "star crimp" crimping tools were absolutely ridiculous in price. So, I finished my technician career and became a graduate electrical engineer (BEE, 1978, Univ. of Dayton) without ever using ferrules or acquiring a crimping tool for same.Flash forward to the 21st Century and Amazon, now importing a crimping tool and an assortment of color-coded ferrules and selling them for ridiculously low prices. That was a no-brainer for me. Sure, the crimper isn't a "star" crimper but it gets the job done. And I didn't need to buy ferrules in thousand-per-lot quantities. Highly recommended product for the serious electronics builder/hobbyest. The ferrules are too large to insert in solder-less breadboards, but work great in all manner of screw-terminal strips.
