TOPS Knives Mission Team 21 Fixed Blade Knife MT21

I like that the point or tip is in the center of the blade. I would prefer the scales have a swell but, they are flat. This is a beefy knife. I use it for batoning.

Tops Mission Team 21 is the most perfect knife I have ever encountered. If you are only going to have one knife, this is the one to have. It is perfectly designed and crafted. I can't believe there aren't 100's of 4 and 5 star reviews and at least dozens of YouTube videos for this knife. I was able to find one YouTube video and the four other reviews here on Amazon. That's it. This isn't a new knife either. It has been around for many years. The video is by Knives Town and is an excellent table top review (only mark against it is that he refers to the handle scales as micarta when they are actually G-10). I love the handle scales. Fits perfect in my hand. Very secure grip. I wear a size medium in gloves. There is a very slight texturing to the G-10 that feels absolutely perfect. Tops Mission Team 21 is the ultimate survival knife. Great for batoning. Great for chopping. Even great for finer work when you choke up on the blade utilizing the finger choil. This knife is the perfect size. Any larger and it wouldn't work well for finer work. Any smaller and it would fall short in it's ability to baton and chop. It's just perfect. It is also great for piercing and slicing. When I go camping or hunting, this is the knife I want to have with me. If the shtf, this is the knife I want to have with me. I own a Fallkniven A1 Survival Knife. I own a Cold Steel SRK. I own many knives (under the $250 range) that are considered survival knives. They all pale in comparison to the Tops Mission Team 21. Also, it's MADE IN THE USA! I LOVE this knife.

A Premium Blade, Crafted in the USA, what more could You ask for? There isn't anything I dislike about this Pattern. And, Boy Oh Boy, is it Heavy Duty!Price Point was very attractive as well.I highly recommend this Blade, simply Outstanding, all the way around.D.M. WatersMerrillan, WI USA

Just an all out bad knife, skip it and go with a different company

TOPS Knives are the Best, great survival knife wont let you down. Only thing is you have to order a Kydex sheath from another company. I got a cheap nylon sheath that probably cost 50 cents.

Very well made...I was looking for the knife of good quality for multi taskings. I probably don't need any other knives in the future. The blade is thick enough for any tasks including chopping. I am very glad to buy this knife.

First impression: Designed to perform most knife tasks well, not perfectly. Overbuilt as it is Designed by SEALS!! Our hardest warriors trust the versatility and toughness of this knife and I absolutely see why. Choil is large and allows a great grip for finer work. Thick/sturdy and long enough (6"+) to baton a lifetime worth of firewood w ease (scandi grind is perfect for splitting). Strong enough to breach/pry any entry door in your standard Bad guy mud hut or get your buddy out of a blown up vehicle. Tip profile narrowed perfectly to decrease resistance when using as a piercing tool. This knife is sick!! And now officially my second favorite TOPs knife of all time! (I only own two) The G10 handles and "black traction coating" on jimping are actually kinda slick with bare sweaty hands but easily improved c any bargain priced gloves. The nylon sheath is good and attaches nicely to any Molle equipped pack or rig, optional belt loop if needed. Decent sized pocket on front of sheath is a nice bonus for carrying extra gear (multi tool, sharpening stone, fire kit, etc.) Final thought: This is a strong option for any emergency kit and would be My choice if I could only carry ONE knife.
