I love that I can spray this on my dry hair in the morning to straighten it before work. It smells nice and does a good job.

One of the best anti humidity products ive ever tried. Worth the money. I just wish theyd get a better spray nozzle. Its one on the biggest complaints in reviews..and its true, easily clogs and product sprays in clumps until you get it unclogged.

The best product I’ve ever used for humidity. I moved from Arizona to a very humid state and had struggled to find something that wouldn’t make my hair roots feel/look greasy or leave my ends dried out. My new hair stylist suggested I try this and I am thrilled that I did. Lightly sprayed on after blow drying and before flat ironing, my hair was shiny, soft and a lot less frizzy. But the real test was the next day after it had been overcast and raining on and off throughout the day and it was awesome! It lasted overnight and even the next day. I did purchase the smaller size since I travel a lot. It fits perfect in a small makeup bag in my luggage. I’ll be purchasing a larger size to keep her home.

First time using this brand and I love how light the product is on my hair and extensions. I also love the scent. I wish it wasn’t so pricey, but overall, this is a great product and heat protectant.

I love this product. It is non greasy and definitely kept my hair from sweating out. It lasted like the product says.

This was my first time using this brand, and unfortunately I didn't need to use it until after the return window had closed. When I finally tried it, I was very disappointed. I can't comment on how well the product itself works because the sprayer is faulty, making it nearly unusable. Every time I try to spray it into my hair, product leaks around the nozzle, runs all over my hand, and drips onto the floor. I have no way of knowing how much product is actually making it into my hair. My one-star rating is based on the faulty packaging, which prevented me from properly using the product. Since I didn't need the product right away, I had no reason to test the sprayer earlier and never expected the nozzle to be defective. Had I known about the issue, I would have returned it before the return window expired.

I use this when I am going to outdoor events where the humidity will be high. I also like to use it when I know that I will be sweating as keeps my hair from getting frizzy.

The scent of this spray is definitely a highlight. It has that signature amika fragrance that smells fresh and salon-quality without being too overpowering. The size of the bottle is decent, and a little goes a long way, so it should last a while. As far as performance, it gave some light frizz control, but nothing dramatic. My hair still reacted to humidity, especially on really muggy days. It did help a bit with maintaining moisture and didn’t dry my hair out, which I appreciated. The texture of the product is lightweight and not sticky, so it layers well with other styling products. The spray itself is fine and even, and the product quality overall feels nice. However, it didn’t give my hair the level of smoothness or hold I was hoping for. For the price, I expected more. It’s not a bad product, just not as effective as I needed for serious humidity control. Might work better for someone with finer or less frizz-prone hair.

I absolutely love amika The Shield. The smell is gorgeous without being overpowering and the texture is lightweight which is great for my fine hair. It gives me such a smooth, frizz‑free finish and makes my styling last so much longer.
