Super compact, amazing charger!
I have probably owned about 30-50 battery chargers over the years. This one is the most compact multiple battery charger I have found. It charges the AA AAA batteries perfectly and is powered by micro usb. Very happy with this product and highly recommend it.

Something wonderful
neat features and viewable details most chargers do not provide even with an onboard screen. Phone app connects and works without a hitch. Incredibly small and affordable. It will detect what's in there and works without any manual intervention. You can also pick your chemistry and charge rate if you prefer. I've since charged many nimh and some 1.5v lithium rechargeables.

Works well, but no settings to speak of when connected to the computer
I love ISDT chargers. have been a long-time user of the SC-620 and SC-608 but I am a bit dissapointed in this. I expected to be able to set at least a maximum input power or charging current, but all I can do is update the firmware. where is the configurations you promised ISDT?

Some Units Not USB-C
The app and the size build quality are all spot on. The unit I was first shipped is micro-USB. Carrying an extra cable defeats the small form factor benefits for travel. According to the ISDT website, the A4 is micro-USB and the A4-air is USB-C. The graphics in the app also show a USB-C port next to the charging voltage. So many things to like about this device, but advertising it as USB-C and shipping something different is a real deal breaker and undermines my confidence in the company as a whole.

Not USB-C for 4 AA charger - twice
I already own one of their other 4 battery chargers. The only reason I purchased this one to replace it was because the description and diagram of it says it is USB-C. The one I received is not. I love the compact form factor but this is really annoying. On the chance I just got unlucky with old stock I tried replacing it with another. Same thing - micro-USBIncorrect description / port aside, I've used other ISDT chargers similar to this and I have been happy with all of them. They are by far the most compact NiMH chargers I've been able to find and are great for travel. Just wish I'd received the described interface. If the seller or manufacturer corrects this and sends me the USB-C version I will update this review accordingly.

Smallest AA charger that charge individual battery
I've used it for almost a year. I used it for travelling, it's reliable and super portable. Probably the smallest AA battery charger you can buy. Most important feature is that it charge the batteries individually and it takes USB power so you don't need a separate adapter which is extremely messy. It also charge batteries really quick although I would prefer a slow charging mode because most of time I don't need it to charge so fast and heat up the battery. Yes it does heat up the batteries during charging, but that's the same for all fast charger. The temperature never goes up too much. Haven't damaged any of my batteries yet (I tried on 2500 eneloop, EBL and Amazon Basic)

Great features for such an inexpensive charger
My usual preference is a battery charger that has an LCD display that displays all sorts of status information regarding the state of the charging process but I was surprised to find the single blinking LED per cell to work very effectively. Also, this charger seems to be stone cold reliable. I've had some very expensive battery chargers that didn't always reliably terminate charging when the batteries were full which resulted in batteries that got extremely hot (not good for long term health of the battery). This little charger has never failed to properly terminate charging.I also find amazing that this inexpensive little charger has a feature to allow for firmware updates, and even more amazing that ISDT has actually provided firmware updates to improve the charging algorithm.Bravo! Well done, ISDT.
