This stuff is great for acid reflex. It builds a raft in the stomach to keep acid down. These are large chewable tablets that are a little fizzy in the mouth but not unpleasant with a mild berry flavor. Might seem a bit spendy but worth the price.

This product is a real game changer for me. It not only works well, but its effect is immediate. I found however, that chewing the lozenges isn’t really bearable without water in one’s mouth. The lozenges have a bitter, semi-sweet, acidic taste that is only relieved by placing them in your mouth, filling your mouth with several ounces of water, and then chewing. The alternative to doing this is to simply crush the two tablets into powder, add the powder to a glass of water, and drink. To that end, perhaps the company may wish to consider offering this in powder packets. Aside from that, this formula is very effective and supports a good night’s sleep without dealing with reflux.

They don't taste bad; kind of like a not so tart Sweet Tart. Be sure to drink the recommended amount of water as you chew, because you can't swallow them without it. Wait to floss and brush until after taken cause they definitely stick to your teeth.I think they work as advertised along with lifestyle changes.

So horrible! Fiant chewables that are beyond tart (if there were a scoville scale for sourness, this would top the charts), and they're "sweetened" with stevia, which some people can't tolerate. Straight to the garbage with these.

I purchased this after I chat with my good buddy chatGPT about GERD. It told me about alginate which I had never known about before. I have been a lifelong Tums user and take omeprazole daily but sometimes I still wake up with acid crawling up my throat and I am gagging and choking and it hurts and I'm really worried about the damage it might be doing to my esophagus. So I decided to give this a try. At first I thought it tasted just like any other antacid. But after a few seconds, the taste became extremely bitter, still sweet but also bitter.. it's very hard to explain. But then came the part where this basically turned into slime in my mouth. I actually got on here tonight because I was going to order this in the syrupy version from another company because I figured if it's going to turn to slime in my mouth, I might as well buy the slimy textured one to begin with. However, after reading some of the reviews I have decided I'm going to try taking it a different way, I plan to try crushing the tablets and putting them in water and then drinking that water as some of the reviewers mentioned doing and see if that is more palatable. Palatable. I will say once I took it the acid went away completely which normally does not happen, on nights when it wakes me up I usually have several GERD attacks before I am able to get back to sleep so it was nice that it helped me with that. So ultimately I would say while the product itself doesn't taste great and the texture is awful one of the worst things I've ever had in my mouth it definitely helps.

Easy to break into halves with just fingers then chew separately. I savor them. If you try to eat two full tablets at once you will need a lot of water and a Waterpik. :^) My doctor (ENT) wanted me to start taking them to help ween me off the PPI I've been taking for LPR. My previous attempt to quit the PPI without them resulted in a big rebound in acid and I had to start over taking the PPI. So far so good, slowly reducing the PPI taken now. Nutra Biogenesis EsophaSoothe is a similar product.

This product seems to be dramatically reducing the airway swelling I was experiencing as I transition to sleep. I suspected silent reflux, irritating my larynx/pharynx, might have been the cause. Taking only one of these pills just before bed (half the recommended dose) coincided with a significant reduction in swelling, sometimes eliminating it entirely. What a relief!

This is not a one shoe fits all type of product, having read all the 1 star reviews I was concerned, but after going through a whole bottle, I am back for more. This product works great for reflux after large meals and is great for breakthrough reflux while you sleep. The flavor is fine, if you have texture issues then the foamy texture will probably bother you. Definitely recommend washing it down with water.

Hice la prueba con Esophageal Guardian de la siguiente manera: agregué 2 pastillas pulverizadas a vinagre (pH 2.5-3) y no creó una película semisólida en la superficie, que se supondría tendría que pasar para detener el paso del contenido estomacal al esófago. Realicé el mismo experimento con Gaviscon Advance y este sí formó la película protectora. Además, al tomarlo después de comer no sentí ningún alivio, a diferencia de Gaviscon.
