Works!
Works great! You may have to use a little more in the beginning but then it's just maintenance

This stuff really works.
Lovely scent. Really works. I use on my drains as a maintenance item about once a week even when there isn’t a drainage issue. My septic cleaner commented on how the septic looked like it didn’t need to be cleaned. They wanted to know if I used something and what it was. When there was a standing water problem in my sink I would poor it in and wait and it would clear. Same with a slow moving toilet or bathtub. Very good product.

Seems to be working

Worked a bit.
Had a horrible odor coming from my bathroom sink when ever the water was run. The people that I bought this house from appeared to never clean the drains. I cleaned them (disgusting, your own hair & gunk is bad enough, but when you know it's someone else's--yuck), tried vinegar and baking soda, drano and then bought this product. It worked a little bit, but didn't really resolve the problem completely. Tried another product that works perfectly---drain sticks by Remelo. Cleared up the issue in a few applications and now I use them monthly in all of my drains to keep them clean and fresh.

Ordered before with scent, this is good too.
My bathroom sinks get treated every month for unpleasant odor. This product works good to remove the odor. Before I ordered the scent. I didn't notice that this time I got unscented. This still works good, but I preferred the scented. My bad though for not reading what I bought.

Completely ineffective on a slow bathtub drain.
I was looking for a cruelty-free drain cleaner to clear my slow bathtub drain and found this. Despite it being about five times more expensive than a traditional drain cleaner, I was happy to pay extra to have a clear conscience. I used the cleaner as directed over the course of five days and it did not clear the slow drain. It didn't even improve the flow of the water marginally. From what I could tell, it did nothing. Again, this was a bathtub drain that only gets hair, water and body/hair cleaning products going down it. Nothing else. Nothing weird. Before posting this review, I emailed A Clean Earth/Earthworm directly to see if they would stand behind their product and offer a refund. I sent the email on a Wednesday, but didn't hear back until late in the afternoon the following Monday. Here is the exact, unedited response from A Clean Earth/Earthworm:"Hello Steve- Thanks for reaching out with your feedback. You may have had something non organic in your drain which was blocking the flow. The product you bought that cleared it, is acid. So of course it cleared it. It may have also harmed your fixture, drains and for sure Not good for the fish and the water table. We stand behind our product which has been on the market for 12 years with great success.Sorry you had to resort to a non environmentally preferable resort. If you choose to use Earthworm again, please let us know.Stay safeBe wellEarthworm Team"So the response was:1. The product didn't work because it was my fault that something inorganic was in the drain.Nothing unusual was in my bathtub drain. Water, body/hair cleaning products and hair. That's it. If a "drain cleaner" can't clear those after five days, it doesn't work.2. Shaming me for resorting to a product that actually worked, including damaging my own fixture, polluting the water table and harming wildlife. The only response to this is that I wouldn't have had to do so if the $20 environmentally preferable drain cleaner I bought did absolutely anything to clear the slow drain. It did not. That's on Earthworm, not me.3. Clearly refusing to stand behind the product and offer a refund, citing 12 years of apparent "great success." Followed by another dig at me for resorting to a product that actually worked.Obviously this is the worst of the three. I can tolerate the insults if they just refunded the $20 for their product that did absolutely nothing. Hilariously, the email explicitly states that they "stand behind" their product. Clearly they don't know what that means, otherwise I'd have been offered a refund, or at least a replacement. So please, if you're looking for an environmentally safer and/or cruelty-free drain cleaner, definitely look elsewhere. Not only is the customer service from A Clean Earth/Earthworm absolutely awful, but more importantly, the product just does not work. That gives me no joy to say as I was really hoping to have found a viable alternative to the usual drain cleaners, but I guess I'll continue that search elsewhere.
