Great solution
Was able to help my parents. They have nice new TV with no audio out. So to use Roku (or Google Chrome, Amazon Fire, etc.) with soundbar wasn't possible, until getting this product. The guys at Best Buy were unable to help. I returned two suggestions they made. This product did the trick. Very simple: Plug in Roku to ZAMO's HDMI in. Connect ZAMO HDMI out to TV HDMI in (where the Roku was plugged in before) via HDMI cable. Connect ZAMO optical sound out to soundbar's optical sound in via optical cable.

Met my needs and expectations.
This was a must purchase after I bought my new Roku stick. I needed to bring good sound back to my external speakers. You know how tv speakers don't sound near as good as your own speaker system.

Works with Sonos produts
I bought this to connect my Sonos Beam with my projector and the rest of the devices that I have connected (Apple TV, Switch, PS4). While I could not get the HDMI ARC functionality to work in HDMI Out A like this product states that it has - I was able to get the Beam connected through the Digital Audio Out with the projector instead connected to HDMI Out A.For the money, I would definitely suggest this product to those who own projectors and want a quick way to connect a speaker, multiple devices, and their projector together without spending a fortune.

Blue lines on black backgrounds
No latency or other visual degradation with cat 7 cable. Cat 6 ethernet (25', 50', and 100') featured intermittent blue lines on black backgrounds.

Works great with Roku 4
This product worked great with my Roku 4. It pulled the audio out. I had tho buy extra an rcca to 3.5 mm adapter to feed into my auxiliary in on my computer. The sound then comes out my computers stereo with subwoofer. I recommend this product!

GOOD PRODUCT WORK WITH MY PS4 AND GAMMING CHAIRS

No 3.5mm jack, not as pictured
As seen in the title, the description and the labeling on the box both indicate a 3.5mm jack, but if you look closely at the pictures, there is no 3.5mm jack. This deficiency is easily solved by a separate adapter for a mere $4.85, but the inconvenience of waiting for the adapter and the extra hassle of having yet another item to troubleshoot when things go south is a hassle. Also the converter I got in what appeared to be an untampered box did not match the pictures and had different labeling (not Zamo), but was essentially the same in function. Otherwise this converter box works well.
