A la Recherche du Temps Perdu...
I first built this model as a kid of 7 or 8 in '63 or '64 and felt nostalgic when I happened to see it for sale at a rock-bottom price here on Amazon, At .33 cents it was actually cheaper than my purchase of the original, (not including postage of course) which I recall paying for with a pile of my hoarded allowance quarters way back when. Probably cost me a buck fifty or so from the corner variety store- this meant six solid weeks of abjuring 5 cent Bazooka Bubble Gum, 10 cent chocolate bars, 12 cent comic books and 30 cent Mad magazines- basically the entire Arcana of temptation available to the under ten year old male child of the early mid-1960s. And considering how I turned out, these early-formed habits of careful frugality and the iron self-control required to sacrifice short-term pleasure for long-term gain did me no good whatsoever, I'm afraid. Anyway, I look forward to building it.

Old school cool
I built these Weird Ohs models in the '60s the first time around. Now I'm building them again in my 60's. Still cool.

Just like the old days
Bright white plastic parts, usually takes 2 coats of paint, extremely detailed parts, easy to build, but instructions are mostly pictures but the parts ARE numbered. Looks great when painted and put together.

Go Wierd-Ohs Go
Drag Hag is the second "Weird-Ohs" kit I have purchased, the first being "Daddy". The instructions are simple and the parts fit together well. Even though using glue and paint are required these are the type of kits a beginner can do without a lot of help and an experienced modeler like myself can get creative and have some fun with.
