Atay Wireless IR Infrared ML-L3 Remote Controller Shutter Release

This was one part of a multiple item photographic purchase worth $200. I've purchased many varied items from Amazon, and I've never been displeased ... until now. This is a first time I received a piece of junk after ordering through Amazon! When I first had it in my hand, it looked like it had been dropped in the street and run over by a car. (a) One side was clearly scuffed and appeared to have been scraped along concrete - a 'return' perhaps? (b) Battery tested as good ... but the unit refused to function - nor does it work now as I write this. Tried the battery in two positions (up/down), but no go. AND, because it's so light, I cannot even use it as a paperweight!! Truthfully, it does not even deserve one star, so Amazon, please modify your evaluation input to accommodate 'zero stars'. The cost was minimal - $5. (Have I learned a lesson? ... Probably not.)[By the way, I was very pleased with the other $195 of photographic gear I bought.]

I know this isn't an official Nikon remote, but I own a Nikon D5500 and it works okay. I can stand about 25 feet away from the camera and take a photo, but it isn't always very discreet that I'm holding the remote because the remote has to be positioned in a certain way for the shutter to click. Also, the remote doesn't have a soft tap to focus when in auto focus mode.

This device works as advertised. It is small & east to conceal in your hand, which is important when you want to get into a group shot while controlling your camera. I have used it as far as 15 feet from my D-5000 and it works well.

Works perfectly for my Nikon D3300!

Does the job. Cheaper than buying the branded version.

Funciona perfecto para retratos de familia, o si teneis un tripode y quereis disparar sin tocarlo. Tened en cuenta que no en todas las camaras funciona en modo rafaga.Relacion calidad/precio insuperable.

Al principio funcionó, aunque parcialmente, de forma aleatoria. Lo achaqué al mal estado de la batería. Se la cambié y sigue funcionando cuando quiere.

Funciona perfectamente a pesar de no ser original, con la ventaja de un precio competitivo, al ser de un tamaño pequeño se dejó en el buzón.
