The color on the gunmetal I think is perfect. I went back and forth about the gunmetal or the green and I went with the gunmetal. The color is like a mix of gray, brown, and hints of green so its actually a pretty cool look. The band was super tight at first and I had it set on the last pin hole so I was very concerned the large was actually too small. Over the period of a couple days if definitely loosened up and now I have the pin in the middle hole. Its actually more loose now and I could probably move the pin to the tightest hole but I don't want to stretch the band out too much and not have any more holes to adjust. So that being said I would say 7 inch wrist and smaller go for large. anything bigger you might want the extra large. As far as getting it on an off. Yes it was a total pain the first few times. The band was stiff and tight and I cursed a little over the design. I even dropped the pin while putting it on in the car and thought I lost the pin screw forever. But.....I will say once the band was stretched and had some bend in it, putting it on was absolutely no issue. It is very secure. Side note, when you take the watch off and charge it I suggest screwing the pin back in to the clasp so you don't lose it. I bought the GELISHI Rugged PC CASE with Tempered Glass Screen Protector with this band and I think they look great together. Hope this helps. Good Luck! Make sure you have help the first few times you put it on and take it off
I wore this for about three months. I purchased it when I got my khaki green Subaru. I am very pleased with the strength and durability and the fit. There’s only one downside. I’d have to say the pin that goes in there. Annoying to put on, but great quality.
I bought this for my Series 3 42mm Apple Watch, size large, in gun metal gray. Pros: - High quality. All components (clasp mechanism, cordage, watch connectors) are very durable and give me confidence that it will hold up over time. - Appearance/looks. The band isn’t too big or too small and the braiding is consistent. Cons: - Clasp mechanism. While very durable, simply put, it’s annoying to put on. I’m not quite sure what the thought process was behind this style of clasp for a watch, but a simple two-sided plastic side-release buckle would be perfectly acceptable. I get that it looks cool, is aluminum and allows them to showcase their logo, but it just isn’t very practical. It does get “easier” to put on with a little practice, but again, still annoying. - Fits a little snug, on the largest setting. My wrist is 7.5” and I wear my Apple Watch on the 5th hole of the sports band that it comes with. The large size of this band, while it fits, is slightly more snug than I had hoped.

Perfect fit.. great quality!
I love it.. High quality! It’s not that hard to put it on and take it off if you have any kind of brains. Those who complain about it, aren’t worth paying any attention to. Fits great, comfortable, and I have smaller wrists. Good job! Will buy more products from Savior Survival Gear!

Very high maintenance. Oddly frustrating. Super cool looking
Well, my first impression after receiving the item was that it takes the ability to learn a new type of dexterity and finesse in order to screw the threaded pin into the watch on your own wrist. I originally thought, "if i have to do this every single time i want to put on this watch, there is no way." Over time, I did learn how to screw the pin in on the watch while holding the band in front of the correct opening (there are three). It's still pretty annoying to do, but you can learn to do it. After quite some time, I am learning that the most delicate and annoying part of this product is keeping track of the threaded pin. It is not attached to the watch band in any way, so this pin essentially becomes the most important part of your day to day routine, because if you misplace it, drop it, lose it, you can't wear your apple watch. Everything is dependent on you keeping track of this stupid little pin. For instance, if you don't screw it on properly before placing the watch on your nighstand, and you pick up your watch the next day, and the pin goes flying off into oblivion, you will spend the better part of your afternoon trying to locate the pin so that you can wear your watch. My first airport run through security, I lost the pin in a random pocket of a random bag. It definitely adds an "extra thing to think about" to your daily life which can potentially be very annoying. BUT**** it's the coolest looking apple watch band that exists, no doubt. I LOVE the way it looks. The material does stretch (i started on the widest of 3 holes and it has since stretched so that I am now using the smallest one). It's a great looking watch band. But it's very high maintenance. Keeping track of the stupid pin. Cheers

Phenomenal watch band.
Active duty Army, this watch band is awesome. Very, very comfortable. Most comfortable watch band I’ve ever worn in fact. Pretty rugged and durable, and I absolutely love the screw-down locking shackle mechanism. These other reviewers complaining about losing the screw don’t make sense to me. Look, when you take the band off, re-screw the screw into the shackle, it locks safely through just fine and keeps the screw with the band. How is this an issue? The locking mechanism while you’re wearing it is surprisingly unnoticeable and comfortable. Also, it works well with other peripherals for the Apple Watch: I treated my watch face with liquid glass to 9h hardness (6 layers) so the face is safer and stronger, then I added an nice screen protector over the liquid glass layers, and then I added the Otterbox case that Apple sells for the watch. I had a bit of trouble with the screen protector coming up while i placed their otterbox case over it, but I re-applied a new protector (the box I bought came with 6 screen protectors) and was a lot more careful the next time. It fit well. Finished product is pictured here. As you can see it looks clean. It’s super strong and safe, and above all highly functional and versatile for active guys like me. I feel like I could take this thing anywhere. The watch band fits my lifestyle and tastes flawlessly. Thanks Savior.

Sweet band!
I love this band and I like the look of the shackle, but it’s not easy putting the pin through. I wish there was a quicker connection. Update- after a year of wearing everyday the band is still great, no frays at all. You definitely get the hang of the shackle. I can usually put on under 8 seconds. Because it is a cloth like material, this band will smell after heavy use. I just toss in with the laundry and it’s back to new. The only downside to the band is occasionally I have had the shackle bolt walk out almost all the way where my watch has fallen off. As a nervous habit, I constantly check and tighten the screw.

Paracord watch band
It's a nice band and it's adjustable at the buckle, but they made a design flaw by not building in a retaining mechanism when unscrewing the lock pin for the buckle so when you unbuckle it your watch will literally fall off your wrist if you aren't ready for it, and that lack of retaining mechanism for the lock pin also makes it awkward to put on as well. It's still a nice band though and I've gotten compliments on it!! The paracord is tough and it's a bit rough on the skin, but I got used to it as it broke in....I like it and recommend it!!.
