Lovely book
I purchased this as a birthday gift for my son who was turning 15. As 2002 was the year he was born, I thought this was perfect. He is a great lover of facts and information. The book is beautiful and it was shipped on time, Prime 2-day delivery.

Misleading
Don’t fall for this one, it’s the soft copy and many of the pages are not legible.

Great Book!
My grandson loves this one too! We have trivia questions to see who knows what. You'd be surprised at things and think "I remember when that happened."

Bought for a penny to create a memorable collection.
Bought this for my son who was born in 1997. I started buying the Guinness Book range for him from around age 9. Then suddenly thought what a good idea to buy them all from his birth year. They all now sit on the shelf from 1997 to present year and my daughter, born in 2000 is pleased with the collection also. And it was bought for just 1p plus standard postage. A bargain to create a great collection.Having just bought the 1965 edition for my husband's 50th birthday, I think it's a great present choice, even if they don't read the whole thing. Who does anyway?

Horrible USA edition
Perennially popular Guinness Book of Records - BUT... it's the USA edition. This means (1) it's the size of a paperback novel, (2) it's printed on newspaper, (3) it's all black and white, and the pictures are just grimy black blobs. Also, of course, at time of writing (July 2010) it's 5 years out of date. Clearly no-one is going to bother with this, and quite right too!!

Great...
Great gift. My son had lost his copy of this issue and wanted to replace it so his collection could be complete, this really done the job and made us both happy...
