Thetford92828 Porta Potti 335 Portable Toilet

Was looking for one that included the mounting tabs. These have it and they are quick release so getting it out for emptying is easy.

Our boat is 55 years young. When we got it you could dump the waste overboard. Next we went to a holding tank. Finally we went to a Thetford portapotty that probably lasted at least 30 years until the pump bellows split. I was going to buy parts to replace the pump but decided to spring for a new one. The design and quality does not seem to have changed. I have not used it yet as the boat is in winter storage but I am confident that it will serve us well for many more years. PS, boat rule number 4, if you use it you clean it. A great deterrent for the little ones using it just for fun.Update, I installed it in the boat. The template for the hold downs is entirely wrong in addition to the instructions being in German. If you are ever in waves, such as on the Great Lakes these brackets will do NOTHING. I ended up using a bracket from the old porta potty to (hopefully) hold down the front of the new one.

The potty seems sound, but would be more suited for a child , small women or someone with limited space. For the average person you should buy a larger model. I was very disappointed with Pepe the seller. It took 12 days for a refund and only after Amazon told them to refund or they would file an a to z claim. They also kept $13.47 from my refund. I am still waiting to see my refund reflected on my credit card.

The product seems very good but the level indicator stop working after 6 months of very light use! We want the seller provide us a repair umder warranty but no response until now.

Quality construction, but way too small for most adults. Should be fine for children, but if adults will be using this portable toilet they will probably be disappointed. Except in dire emergencies!Purchased this toilet, returned it, ordered the Thetford 345. No hold-down kit for the 345, but that is a minor consideration in my camper van conversion. The slightly larger dimensions of the 345 should make a big difference, with no problems fitting into my van.

Very small. Only usable in an emergency for children and petite women. As a normal sized man, I can't see how I could use it. On the plus side, the quality seems good and it seems easy enough to operate. I'll likely keep it for emergency purposes as there aren't many better choices in this price range.

Easy to use

When I opened the box it was obvious this product was too small to be useful, especially in a cramped compartment on a boat. Returns are not allowed after 30 days. Be sure to note the small print regarding the seller's return policy. I did not and now I am stuck with a useless "baby" toilet.
