Takes some getting used to, but not a bad mattress
Two-month update: if I’m honest, there have been a few nights where I’ve been uncomfortable with how firm it is. And a few mornings where I’ve woken with a sore back. But those nights are few and far between, and while if I had to do it over again I might go back to a pillow top, overall I’m not unhappy with this mattress. I don’t hate climbing into bed, and it’s softened a little with time and use. It just takes some mental adjustment to the differences against a “normal” mattress. Original review:If you're looking for a soft, pillow-like sleeping experience, this isn't for you. But if you're looking for a mattress that offers good support and is still extremely comfortable, this is a fantastic option.I'm relatively small. I don't make much of a dent in even a regular mattress. But while I definitely don't sink into this one, I don't at all feel uncomfortable, or as though I'm on a rock. The way it shapes around you is subtle, but I woke up this morning having slept better than I have in YEARS.One thing I feel like it's important to note: the sides of this mattress are soft. If you sleep on the very edge of your mattress, there is a very real possibility you're going to fall out. For best results, you want to be near the middle, so sleepers who hang an arm down should beware.I should also mention the customer service, however. My shipment seemed to have gotten lost along the way and stayed in one spot for a week and a half. I put in a message to the seller, and within an hour I had a promise to track it down - unlike if you contact Amazon directly on anything they can't really tell you more than what you already see and just replace the item. By that night my package has been located and I had an email informing me of an exact delivery date - a whole day before I'd told customer service it was important the mattress be here. So I give full credit for prompt service from the company. Now, I don't know if I necessarily believe the stuff about the copper in this mattress. But as a runner, I figured it couldn't hurt. I definitely did notice though that my tired legs felt better this morning and I had more energy than I typically do in the morning. Whether that was due to just having a good mattress in general or something to do with how this is made, I couldn't say, but I'll take it.Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my mattress, and even my skeptic of a husband is impressed. There may very well be more of these in our home in the near future.

Restful sleeping
Best sleep ever! Had back surgery 7months ago and wasn't recovering fast. Actually woke up many times every night. The first week I had this bed, i almost had complete uninterrupted sleep and high amounts of REM sleep. It also helped with speeding up my recovery! Great product!

Great mattress.
I'm a skeptic but I needed a new mattress. I had heard about PerformaSleep from some friends. I travel a lot and find myself loving or hating hotel mattresses and trying to find the perfect mattresses had prevented me from making a choice. There are so many options and I hadn't really liked the memory foam beds I'd tried. I love PerformaSleep. It really does have a great feel. Firm and supportive but soft and cloud like at the same time. And I do feel better when I wake up after a deep sleep with many fewer aches than my old mattress so there may be something to the althete/recovery claim. If you are having a hard time making a choice, feel reassured that the PerformaSleep is awesome!

It mad my arthritis hurt worse then it ever has
Got this mattress from the company and after 3 weeks of sleeping on it I hurt all over. The mattress has almost no give and you lay on it. It mad my arthritis hurt worse then it ever has. It is extremely firm with no give. Luckily the company took it back without any problems.

Love it so far.. time will tell. Worth your try
I was very hesitant to buy a mattress online. I'm very particular about my sleep (I take a prescription med each night to stay asleep)and researched many different mattresses. I am a male athlete with a more dense body than the average person- meaning very high muscle composition and very low body fat. I've noticed over the years as my body has changed from soft to hard that I need much more support in order for my body to rest. I usually sleep better on the floor than a bed. What made me decide on the performasleep was the fact that it is targeted to an athlete's body. I'm not sure I buy into the copper technology, but the mattress has been very comfortable. I have no regrets at all. The first few nights took some getting used to as my coil mattress was very old and out of shape. A week later, I am very pleased and getting great rest. I definitely notice a difference in less stiffness each morning, deeper sleep, and just overall more comfort lying in bed. The bed is firm, but not too firm, and just soft enough to where I don't feel like I'm laying ON TOP of the bed, but rather slightly enveloped. The foam does not make huge indentions, which is nice bc you don't sink in. It will be interesting to see the life of the bed and if it is worth the investment. At any rate... it seems like a much better buy than thousands of dollars on a big brand name bed.I bought this mattress at my own expense. I am not affiliated with performasleep nor did I receive any discounted offer to provide a review.
