Starlite Creations Battery Operated LED Ultra Slim Wire, 9 ft, 36 LEDs, Multicolor Bundle Set

These are so pretty. Every Christmas, we put a tree out in the cemetary in honor of my grandparents, they loved Christmas and we live in a small town where we can put something like this out next to their gravestone. The battery box fit tighter and was easier to load/close than the cheaper versions we've used in the past that used C batteries - these also have 36 lights vs 10 lights on the others that we've used. The lights are on a timer (and do indicate 100 or 120 hours of battery life - perhaps shorter if you use the blink or cycle version of the lights). The lights come on for 6 hours, go off for 18 and come on again. It is so nice that these lights turn on & off for a few days. This is when used outside (and these lights are indicated for indoor use only) and withstanding cold & snowy weather. They are very bright as well - they brightened the full cemetary and you could see them from quite a distance. I will purchase again to have some in stock for future years when/if these stop working.UPDATE 1/17/14 -I placed a set of batteries in these on Christmas Day (I had previously done so on Christmas Eve, but I forgot they were on a timer so replaced the batteries wanting them on for Christmas. Later I found the instructions and realized when I had stopped by it was during the 18 hours that they were timed "off".). All of the lights were still lighting each evening through 1/10/14. The red & green lights are still lighting each evening, but the yellow & blue have stopped lighting. I noticed this the previous year as well that for some reason the yellow & blue fade out first and then eventually the red & green lights also stop lighting. Not a problem with the unit as if I were to put in fresh batteries, all colors would light up again. I find it very impressive that these lit for 17 days (out in the cold including a few nights of minus 14!). I'm now just waiting to see how much longer until the red & green lights fade out - tonight is night 24. Very impressed with the product and they really light up bright. Because we place this on a Christmas tree in the cemetary for my grandparents, I know you can see them from quite a distance as we drive away.

Okay, on the plus side. description is just as it says comes with 2 9 ft 36 LEDs. They're really bright and colors are vivid and you definitely set it anywhere. Like decorating your shelf (during christmas that is!) using it to decorate the table or what not. Or use it as what it was intended for which is to decorate wreaths. Simple to use, 3 modes including phasing, flashing, and steady. Also shuts off after 6 hrs of continuous use. Not bad on using desk size christmas trees being that its 1/4 the size of a Jelly bean. Its portable and easy to take around.The things I didn't like about it is it requires 3 AA batteries. I can't complain but, it is what is. I highly recommend to use rechargeable batteries and I find the lights going dim after 16-20 hrs of use. The control box does get a little hot after awhile. Its fragile and I feel that the part is cheaply made.Hope this helps.

I absolutely love these little super tiny, versatile LED lights! They have a great design because the lights are little 1/4 inch long bean-shaped, low profile plastic dots attached along three very thin wires. Thus, they are very bendable, lightweight, and can be wrapped around anything. This is a pack of two strings of lights. Each one uses 3 AA batteries. You can set the lights to simply on, rapidly blinking, or a slowly fading on and off blink.I ordered this set because my husband and I were invited to an ugly Christmas sweater party. So I thought, "What could be uglier than actual Christmas lights on a Christmas sweater?" I got some sweaters from the Goodwill for each of us, and we individually sewed our own thread of these LED lights onto them. We positioned them in such a way that we could put the battery packs into our pockets (the battery container is small). The idea was a big hit, and we were the only ones at the party with lights on our ugly sweaters!Now that we are done with the party, we removed the lights from the sweaters and next we are going to affix them to a wreath on the front door. These lights are the greatest.

The lights looked great in the picture and the description sounded good. But for the price, the value was terrible. Cheap and small, they really disappointed me. The battery runs out very quickly as well.

I was happy with the quality of the lights, although they were smaller than I expected. With new batteries the lights are very clear and bright. I am however disappointed by the amount of batteries the light uses. It seems that after a week of the lights being on 6 hours a day the lights begin to dim and the 3 AA batteries need replacing. This gets quite expensive. For this reason I would not purchase these again.

These were cute led lights that looked good and blended well with our tiny Christmas tree. They worked great for a few days and then died. Both sets. We didn't suspect the batteries were dead because that seems crazy. But after reading some reviews here and trying new batteries we discovered that sure enough, the batteries died. Seems like a really short life for LED lights.Also, one of the sets is a bit flaky with a short. Jiggling the lights makes them come back on.

I ordered these lights after last Christmas to put on a small tree that wasn't very bright and I was so disappointed when they arrived and I saw how tiny they really were. Forward to this Christmas and I got them out just to look at them and I couldn't believe how bright these little lights are! They really brightened up my little tree and I was so happy with them, I put them on a garland on my mantel, the wreath on my door and can't wait to find other things to put them on ( so glad I bought several boxes now). They are great, I absolutely love the timer. All the lights come on at 4:00 and go off at 10:00, I never have to even think about them. The tiny wire wire is perfect for wrapping around your item and securing it wherever you need it, just wrap a couple of times and it's locked. Anyway, I am thrilled with this purchase, just love them!!!
