ZHONG AN Professional 3" Sanding Back Pad for Orbital Sander 1/4 inch-24 T Male Thread

Beware! Read Carefully! Contact First! Make sure you compare your orbiter palm sander thread size with this before ordering this item.Good Price for this item.......BUT this item has a male threads for M6x1.0 thread type for which what was stated in the product title post was 5/16 inch-24 UNF Male thread. As a result, this backing pad never fitted both my astro onyx 3" inch finishing palm sander or my Neiko 6" inch orbiter palm sander, which needed 5/16 inch-24 UNF thread type. I had to purchase another backing pad with the correct thread type to complete my project a few days later after ordering and I also tested the two brand of backing pads as you can see in the pictures. Both items has completely different threads and not compatible with one another.I also contacted the seller about the issue and requesting for an exchange because I could've used a backup pad for my sanders anyways. However, I had a extremely poor experience with their customer service after showing proof with the two backing pad I had and told them I have tried everything to get the backing pad to work with my sander. The only solution and reply they gave me was: "Dear customer, our sander's Thread size is M6，I see the other brand's thread size is different, so i guess that's why you can't use that. Threaded interfaces are different. if you have other sander, you can try different, maybe it will works."......."pad? we sell that as picture shows. our male thread is 5/16x24, but i guess the top of thread has a bit different. Maybe that whorl is different."Based on the item post on Amazon (Shown in the Picture) was completely wrong compared to the received item. Was very disappointed with the seller's reply and no solution to the issue...exclude returning the item for a refund and taking time out of my day to drop off the package to a UPS location. I work as a customer service supervisor for a major corporation and this is not how you assist customers. I am a frequent buyer on Amazon for a variety products and never really post reviews about products because I understand products has flaws and quality standard based on MSRP's of goods, but with this type of customer service has been bugging me and forced me to post a review to inform other would-be buyers. So Beware and read carefully! Very Poor Customer Service and Support towards customer's issues!

The product was delivered promptly and seemed well made. Unfortunately it did NOT have a 5/16 inch spindle as advertised and will not fit my buffer machine. I returned the product and ordered from a different manufacturer. My fingers are crossed that I get one that will fit this time.
