The glass of this product is very thick and sturdy! The Amazon delivery guy threw the package containing this item over my 7 foot fence, the corner of the box dented from the delivery guy and I was worried this product would be shattered, but it was perfect and completely fine! Excellent quality glass and the coffee I made tasted great!

The coffee dripper is one of those rare houseware items that looks as elegant used as it does unused on our countertop. The “permanent filter” is well-designed, and the perforated holes guard fantastically against the smallest of coffee and tea grains, and cleans easy. The item has paid for itself already with all the money we have saved from traditional coffee filters.

I really like this pour over carafe, and I love the cup and saucer set. The whole purchase is a great choice overall. The one thing holding me back from a 5 star review is that I wish the wholes at the bottom of the filter were fewer. There are 5 of them and it seems that fewer wholes would allow for longer immersion time for a stronger flavored end result. Don't get me wrong, the coffee this makes is very good, but I bet it would be better if it had longer time in the water before filtering down into the carafe.

I am very happy that I purchased the beautiful and functional SimpleDesigns Pour Over Coffee Maker/Dripper Carafe that comes with a superb permanent stainless steel filter, and two clear glass cups and saucers. I've used it every day, since it arrived three weeks ago, and it is exactly what I wanted. Coffee, made from freshly ground beans, tastes great, and the filter and carafe are easy to clean.

Several of the reviewers have complained about the size of the cups. I really like them, though if you are expecting mugs you will be disappointed. They hold about 7 oz.. They are attractive and sturdy. I am about to order another set so I can have 2 more cups. The carafe is ok, nothing special, but the cost is a fraction of what more attractive models cost. The carafe does lack cup gradation markers. That said, the brewed coffee produced is just as good as any other pour over that I have used. If you are looking for an attractive carafe, there certainly are better choices, but they will set you substantially more and will not result in any better coffee.

This coffee maker is beautiful & makes the best cup of coffee ever! We just recently learned about the danger of plastic coffee makers and thought we'd try this alternative. If we had known this would improve the taste of our coffee like this, we would have switched much sooner!The company is also very attentive to customer service. I had a problem with the resuable filter trapping grounds. I emailed the seller and within minutes had a response stating that this is not a normal problem and that a new one was on it's way! Love the way they stand behind their products and resolve any issues quickly! Also love my perfect cup of plastic free coffee!!!

I really like this coffee pot, I do not drink a lot of coffee, and Hubby does not coffe at all so one cup just right, if more is needed you can make me coffee just put more coffee in the filter and more water. I use my tea pot to boil water. It is easy to use the filter is nice easy to clean. The two cups and saucersee are very nice are not flemsy the are a good weight in the hand. I do notIke large mugs of coffee so they are great. Enjoyed

So the product is nice, seems to be of a very decent quality. However, the metal coffee filter of mine was damaged. Not so badly I can’t use it, in fact it works just fine and I’ll take a couple dents in exchange for tasty coffee.It’s a very cute set, no air bubbles or anything in the glass. The glass is thick enough that you don’t feel like it’s going to break if you ding it once or twice. I’m not saying to go full strength test or anything, just that it kinda hit the lip of my granite countertop and I held my breath for nothing.
