A good companion to night runs on dark country roads
Great head torch for the price and I like that it can be also used as a chest torch too. You certainly won’t be guiding any planes into land with this torch but it is perfect to wear on night runs along dark country lanes, and because of that I’m really happy with it. I would recommend it.

Excellent illumination
Bought for running. The shaped illumination pattern is excellent, lighting the path edges and ahead evenly, not just the usual narrow pencil forwards.

Cracking headtorch
I bought this for running in winter. I wasn't taking any chances and also had a chest light and a belt-light to make sure I could be seen. This torch has been great. Not overly heavy, reasonably comfortable and it puts out plenty of light on the high setting. The low setting is also usable but I feel it could do with a medium output setting also.Battery life has not been an issue - I recharge after every use anyway and it can certainly sustain full output for at least one hour which is fine for me so far.The lens is also easy to set at the preferred angle having a number of pre-selecteable positions built in that are chosen with a simple tilt mechanism that clicks into place. It came with an extra strap for setting it up as a chest light but I have a sepearate unit for that so I can't say much on that part's usefulness but as a head torch it's great.
