These do a great job blocking sound from our noisy, high-traffic street. They also block light very well - I almost can't get up in the morning because I feel like it's still dark! I was worried they'd look cheap, but they also look quite nice.

I originally searched for crushed velvet but all of the crushed velvet was reviewed as thin and cheap. These curtains are not really velvet, more of a suede feel but so nice and thick and heavy. They totally block the light. They look stately in my drawing room. The edges are square and hems well-sewn. Really glad I bought these! Great value for the money. I only wish the manufacturer would offer a matching valance.

Great quality drapes, I wouldn’t call them light weight. I got a great deal on an open box buy.

True heavy duty blackout curtains. So luxurious in texture they look like they came from a high end store. You will not be disappointed.

The fabric is light blue. Like a shade of the sky. Not turquoise or any bit teal like the picture. Nice fabric though if you need light blue curtains.
